An Update

I am doing really well. Laughing and smiling so much this week. My face hurts from smiling so much. I'm almost finished the Steps to Employment Program, we looked at our resumes yesterday. I of course don't have one, so the facilatators used me as an example and did a rough resume on the flip chart. They said I have a very good resume. They want me to take a typing test to see how many words a minute I can type. I don't think I will have trouble finding a Part Time Job. The teacher will be back at the Canadian Mental Health Association in September, Thank God! I'm having a problem with the next Chemistry Lesson. I'm still doing really well, averaging an A. I've also signed up for a computer training course that will start next month. I know how to use computers, but have never had any formal training.

Next week I'm going camping with the Canadian Mental Health Association Clubhouse. I will be leaving on Monday and coming back on Friday. This will be a new adventure for me. I don't really know many members. But I'm sure I will get to know them all next week. We will be staying in cabins and theres a beach. They have a lot of activities planned, horeshoe tournament, canoeing, hiking, etc. I'm really looking forward to this.

DH and I are taking the kids back to school shopping next Friday. I'm really looking forward to it. Emily is a jeans and T-shirts kinda kid and of course anything black. Spencer is a typical Skater boy, the baggier the better. Oh well, there are worse things. Emily has decided that she wants to colour her hair before school starts. So my friend and I are having a girls night and we are going to colour her hair. Emily will be starting grade 5 and Spencer grade 3. Were has the time gone? I can't believe how grown up they are.

Emily is not doing so good these days. She needs a root canal and her tooth is really bothering her. DH called the specialist today and she has an appointment for the initial consultation next Wednesday. My poor girl, she is in so much pain.

Claudia is very excited about her Birthday coming up. We are having a little party for her and her friends at McDonalds and everytime we drive by McDonalds she announces "That Donalds and that's were my party is. And everyone is going to sing Happy Birthday to me!" She is so cute!

It's been a really good summer! The time I have spent with my children has been so wonderful. DH and I are talking a lot. But not really about our relationship. We just have to wait and see what happens. We are still very good friends and whatever happens we will always be friends.
