So here's my take on the doo hicky.
Didn't matter who won this year, they are both garenteed record deals. Clay akin was sighned hours after the finale
So was kathrine mcfee. So lee gets to wear the "crown of growth" after all that is who always wins.
Rubbin wasn't better then clay and nither was tayor better then kathrine, but they won
Becuase they showed growth. Bowersox is a star from day one girl was unstopable and although she got better
She didn't do the whole technical and stage presence improvement deal. Hence she got 2nd.
But who knows snce ellen has a record label now, maybe she will sign her.

Now for the preformances...all I can say is william hung doing pants on the ground. Beat out
Dane cook for laughs.
Christina proved why she's a star
And why god why did they have to keep bringing the rejects back??? The looney ones with no life.
Hall and oats? Chicago? Bret michaels? Alice cooper and the beegees? ...really??

You know maybe lee and crystal should do a sugarland thing, they will sound great together.
So that's my two cents. Lol!

I didn't see any of the performances last night because we were at church. We are one of the last remaining people without a DVR! I think we have decided that we really need one.

jcc64 replied: The person I want to win on Idol never does. EVER. I actually think Crystal looked slightly relieved when they announced Lee's name. I think she was kind of uncomfortable with the whole scene to begin with. Hopefully, she'll become an artist on her own terms, rather than playing the whole cheesy AI part. I mean, c'mon, she is not the type of performer that belongs on a Ford commercial.

It was a toss up for me on who should win. I thought they both had an equal shot, but thought Lee was the more consistently better singer.
