When summer gets old around here we pull out a "Let it snow" sign with a snowman on it because we have a theory that he helps hurry the cold along (no-not the snow, just the cooler weather). The funny thing is that even though we all know it's completely ridiculous, EVERYONE gets mad when we put it up saying that they aren't ready for the cold and snow yet! Lol!!

Maddie put him up yesterday.

my2monkeyboys replied: Me, too! I do love the Spring with it's beautiful blooms, but there is just something about Fall that I absolutely love.

ETA: Its been so dang cold (around 50-55 F) and rainy here for a past few day, I went and bought Braedin and I sweats today. I hate the cold! We are in for an early fall and winter.

MommyToAshley replied: I feel like we were cheated out of summer. We really only had a few good weeks of summer weather. Then school started back so early. I love fall too, but I like all the seasons and summer was just too short. I love the fall activities, but I'm not looking forward to the fall allergies.

Yummy!!! We make everything pumpkin in the fall. Maddie was just saying the other day that soon we can make pumpkin pancakes instead of plain ones.

youngmomofone replied: Yes because it'll be closer to when dh comes home. He's been gone almost 9 months and has about 6 months left if they dont come sooner.

I'm also ready for my daughter to start school. She was such a handful this summer because she was bored. She starts next Mon. I think. We meet the teacher on Thurs so we'll know for sure then.

HuskerMom replied: I like fall but I don't like that it starts getting dark earlier. I like when it gets dark at 10 and hate when it gets dark at 6.
