Kaitlin'smom wrote: I heard Kaitlin wake up around midnight, sounded liek she might need me so I get up go potty and when I listen again it seems she went back to sleep. I went back to bed. Well she woke up at 1am and was cring DH went in and she was banging her self aganist her bed and crying it hurts. He tried to find out what hurt but she would/could not tell him. He asked her if she wanted some juice she said yes so he took her for some juice, then she started asking for me so he brought her into the bed room and she was again complaing it hurt and wanted to sleep with me. I also tried to get her to point or tell me where it hurt she did mention her belly button a few times so I thoguht maybe he had a tummy ache but when I touched her belly right on the belly button she freekd out and said it hurt and was crying. It got me worried and I asked if she wanted to go to the doctors she cried yes so DH and I flew into geer and got dressed and I got her some socks on and changed her diper, she did not want me to cause she was afraid it would hurt bawling.gif by this point I am trying not to freek my self but stay calm. We got her in the van and started out, now she seems fine and being silly. So DH asked if she still hurt and she said no, so I oushed around on her and nothing excpet for me to stop, so at this point we are wondering should we still take her or not we opted to drive around for a bit while she watched a DVD. So by this point I wonder if she is hungry or something did not agree with her from dinner So back home we went took her inside she climbed on the couch and ate a little something, and watched a DVD for a bit then she got down and told People night night (The little people) so off to wash her hands and brsh her teeth again and then she climbed int o bed and let out the HUGE fart and was very proud and gitty about it I said 'well do you feel bettter?' she said 'yeeesss'

In conclusion she had gas, I come to this cause I heard her fart a few more times on the monitor, wheew I am glad it was nothing big and I am glad we did not end up in the ER I would have felt really stupid for bring her in for gas, but then again I had no clue, she has never had a problem farting before.

Sory it was so long, and now I really need a nap.

Boys r us replied: It's not funny that you were up all night with a little one who was upset, but Di I can't help but to get giggly about the part where she let out a huge fart! Haa
I'm so glad that she felt better afterwards, gas can be so painful at times! I hope that you make it through this day alright!! I know you're probably tired!

mckayleesmom replied: awww...glad she feels better. I would have been freaking too.

kit_kats_mom replied: I hate nights like that but I'm glad it turned out to be a case of the evil fart monster. He comes to our house a lot too. LOL

mammag replied: Oh I would have been scared too! Glad all it needed was a little "tooting". biggrin.gif

Get caught up on some sleep tonight.

kimberley replied: yikes, i would have worried too! glad she got it all out and is better happy.gif

coasterqueen replied: I would have reacted that way too. Kylie's done similar things like that lately and it just freaks me out to where I can't sleep the rest of the night.

My2Beauties replied: emlaugh.gif I'm only laughing because I sympathize...Hanna done the same exact thing last night, she woke up crying and for the life of me I could not get her back to sleep and she kept squirming and letting out little whimpers and then like out of nowhere (while I'm patting her on her little tushy) she lets out a big loud stinky fart and she started giggling and just went aaagghhhh and closed her eyes emlaugh.gif I know your situation was scarier because of how she screamed, but I'm just laughing because I feel your pain!

aspenblue1 replied: I am glad she is feeling better.

ediep replied: oh my, what a night!!!!! Poor Kaitlin and mommy and daddy!! I would have freaked out too, but I am soooooo glad that she got it out! I know how painful that can be

A&A'smommy replied: Well lol I'm glad you didn't have to go to the emergency room, poor girl. You guys must be REALLY tired!!! I hope you guys get some sleep tonight!!

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Aww I'm glad she's ok! I probably would have been freaking out too.. it can be so hard to tell if it's serious or not. Poor Kaitlin and mommy! I hope you get your nap today. grouphug.gif

amynicole21 replied: We've gone through that a few times with Sophia. It is so scary that the pain is so intense and they can't do anything about it!! We know to go for the mylicon when she is like that now, but it took a while for us to know the symptoms. Poor Kaitlin. I'm glad she was able to relieve the pressure though wink.gif

DansMom replied: Wow, that sounds like quite a night! ohmy.gif Daniel doesn't distinguish between mild discomfort and extreme pain when he says something hurts. He'll say that the tag on his shirt hurts. And we've had that vague "hurts" but no explicit place that is hurting. It's such a guessing game isn't it? It must be a bit funny in hindsight, but not much fun to go through all that.

mummy2girls replied: AWWWW poor little girl! Ive never experienced that with jenna:)

Heather replied: aww poor bub what a nasty gas bubble. I am so glad she was able to be relieved. smile.gif What an ordeal.

iluvmysweetiepies replied: Poor baby! Glad she's okay. I hope you get some rest today! smile.gif

loveydad replied: I would have too! That is scary!

Kaitlin'smom replied: thanks everyone, she slept all night last night and I got some sleep.

guess she is a little fart laugh.gif

redchief replied: So... How come when MY belly hurts and I fart and feel better everyone thinks I'm a disgusting pig?

LOL

Seriously, I'm glad it was nothing serious. I hope you all have a better night tonight.
