Ally's 6 month pics

She was super crabby and I'm not really all that pleased with how they turned out. I think we will try again later in the week or maybe next week. I think she just really hates the dress. She was fine and happy until I put that thing on her, then she turned into a royal crab.
Anyway, this is what we have so far.









DH likes the last one because it is a total snapshot of Ally's personality. Its totally her, through and through. she looks like she'd like to jump off the table and tear someones eyeballs out.

You can't frame a pic like that and put it in your living room tho.

I know. She finally went through a growth spurt. She now fits into her 3-6 month clothes. I get to go shopping for 6-9's pretty soon!

I was wondering whether you did them yourself or not...only because of the wrinkled backdrop (which you could photoshop out), but I think you did an awesome job! She is soooooooooo cute! I love the third one of her sucking her fingers. Is she sitting up already? Or do you have her propped? I haven't done any professional ones of Wesley yet. I keep putting it off.

Yep!! I have been known to order a funny pic like that, or if I took it, print it to save it, so my kids can see themselves acting up when they grow up. I have one of Natalie in her angel costume & she is SCREAMING b/c she was tired of taking pictures, and I totally saved it.

PrairieMom replied: Yeah, we do them in the basement. We had one bad experience with Walmart Photos when Ben was 3 months old. After that we invested in some umbrella lights and backgrounds off EBAY, and have done it ourselves.
I'm not happy with the ones we got, I think we will try again next week. (no sitting fees!)
Yeah, you can bring Maddie over, we have done other people's kids before, we just make them buy us pizza.
