Anyways, DH picked me out this 17" widescreen laptop. I like it but this site is very itty bitty on the screen

I've been trying everything with the resolution to get this site and others to come up bigger and I can't. Sniff sniff. The print is so small I literally have my face in the screen.

Any computer techies out there with any other solutions? I've been in control panel messing with that etc. No luck.

My2Beauties replied: I seriously have no clue except the little buttons on the screen of a regular PC made my screen bigger, I don't know about laptops though! Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Ok. if you are using Windows Explorer....
go to the menu at the top of the page. Click "View", choose "text size" then choose the size you want.

If you aren't using explorer, I can't help you

Thanks Cary. I am using explorer and tried that but it didn't change a thing. I seriously think it has something to do with this extra wide screen. DH keeps trying to help me over the phone but it's not working! ROFL.

He knows I can handle technology but this is a bit different to me so I wish he would have set this up. In the mean time I guess I'll just keep my nose to the screen.

What resolution are you in Karen? I set mine to 1280X1024 and the font is easy to read.

I asked him why he picked out a widescreen laptop and he said cuz it's cool to watch movies on! Ummm, I know I don't work at work...but I definitely don't watch movies..maybe soaps but not movies!!!!
