ARGHHH, I'm going to hurt someone
sparkys2boys wrote: Ok, so I clean the boys room usually twice a week. Meaning, dust, polish, vaccum, change the beds etc. Then once a month I scrub walls, baseboards, do windows all the stuff. I just did the major clean maybe two weeks ago and moved the beds to clean under then and dig out the stuff they shove under there, so I go to start again today and look under the beds and OMG.. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, you should see the stuff under Logan's bed. I swear the kid is a pack rat. Papers from school, fliers from the mail.. CANDY FREAKIN WRAPPERS and the list goes on. And I just warned them last time no more shoving junk under your beds. OHHHHH wait til he gets home from after school, that lil man has some explaining to do and then some CLEANING
booey2 replied: Hugs, sounds like we have similar children. Both my boys have stopped that for the most part only because one day when I was doing it I was so fed up I made them help me. Had them physically crawl under their beds and haul the junk out. Not sure if your beds are high enough. Usually I do it with a broom and swing the thing under their bed til the stuff comes out. Not that time, and they both now know better and stopped storing stuff under their beds.
grandma replied: You change sheets twice a week? I am impressed! I don't think I was that organized when my kids were small. Ofcourse I can't remember back that far.....
lisar replied: I know how you feel. Lexi is the same darn way.
A&A'smommy replied: thats funny sorry to laugh that would be extremely frustrating!!!
sparkys2boys replied: Yup always twice a week when I clean there room. I am a liitle more paranoid about clean bedrooms and beds because Cameron has asthma quite bad. And it acts up more at night and when he is sleeping. And because I am a clean freak
3xsthefun replied: I know how you feel my girls are the same way.
kit_kats_mom replied: That's a bummer. I swear kids are nuts. Maybe just take their bed frames down and put their mattresses on the floor for awhile. That way they won't be able to shove stuff under there. . That's what I'd do. See problem, problem bothers me, fix problem.
CantWait replied: Ha I hear ya. It took Robbie and I, four and a half hours to clean his room last week, and the mess is starting to pile again.
Calimama replied: Yuck!! I'd worry about bugs from the candy wrapper but I guess it's so cold where you live they wouldn't stand a chance of surviving.
sparkys2boys replied: funny Denise funny I clean all the time so no worry over bugs
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Oh we get bugs, don't you worry.
I caught several ladybugs since we moved in here. I don't know how, but there was about 10 in the last month and a half or so....I don't kow where they came from, ladybugs hibernate. Maybe sicne the hosue was empty for a few months, then we turned the heat on...caused them to get out of diapause?
I don't mind though, I like ladybugs. I even have one tattoed on my butt.
sparkys2boys replied: Its funny u mention this Rocky because we have had one all winter in the house to. But for some reason I dont think of them as bugs they are to cute..lol!
