A bit of a concern....... - LOL

moped wrote: Mr. Rogers is still on TV?????????????????????????

I seriously had no idea......Jack thinks he is wierd! laugh.gif

lovemy2 replied: He is wierd - Olivia used to be afraid of him - I would put it on and she would say No Mommy - not the scary man laugh.gif

moped replied: A bit creepy is what came to my mind ohmy.gif

Calimama replied: He still kinda creeps me out. unsure.gif

sparkys2boys replied: Ummm who's Mr Roger's?? unsure.gif unsure.gif

Calimama replied:
http://pbskids.org/rogers/

Anthony275 replied: hes awesome... the only thing i find creepy is that guy from reading rainbow, who reads books all the time like that?

Crystalina replied: I'm here to defend Mr. Rogers!!! He isn't weird! Teletubbies are weird. Yo-Gabba-Gabba is weird. rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif

Mr. Rogers is weird for kids today because they are used to puppets and cartoons and not adults who actually act like adults. Mr. Rogers had a childish whimsical side but compared to a grown man dressing up in an orange jump suit or a grown-up who talks to a blue cartoon dog....yeah, he may seem strange. rolleyes.gif

My kids also have little patience for Mr. Rogers because he's too "slow" for them. Kids nowadays need bright colors flashing in their face and constant motion to stay focused.

moped replied: I am really just teasing and this post was to be funny!!!!!

I am not all that bothered by him, just surprised it is still on tv is all wink.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: laugh.gif Jen you crack me up!! Mr Rogers is a great man, but he is so dated and cooky. rolling_smile.gif I still have great memories of watching him, though. tongue.gif

Anthony275 replied: i remember watching him once and he had an arthur doll with him

lovemy2 replied:
Your wierder than Mr. Rogers.....

Anthony275 replied: w/e, i dont sing while i put my shoes on and put my sweaters away in the closet

Sam & Abby's Mom replied:
ROFL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

moped replied: Tom was just telling me that the reason he wears sweaters/wore sweaters was to cover his tatoos........

Anthony275 replied: i dont know about that, but wikipedia says:

Calimama replied:
Yep, they sure are.

:.Mrs_Mommy.: replied: I remember watching Mr Rogers and Sunshine Station ( I think that is what it was called) when I was a kid at my dad's house. Those are some pretty good memories. biggrin.gif

Crystalina replied:

Shining Time Station, with Mr. Conductor and the 2 kids?

I loved Mr. Rodgers when I was a kid, I didn't know he was still on TV though! I'll have to look for it.

lovemy2 replied: Did you know that the writer of Alice in Wonderland was on drugs - the whole story is actually very intense - hooka pipes, falling through the middle of the earth, the smiling rabbit - all were drug and math conotations - I took a whole class on it in college - it was very eye opening.....

As for Mr. Rogers - yep he is wierd but you are right - the Teletubbies - they are just plain stupid laugh.gif

Anthony275 replied:
yeah and how is that a disney movie again?? just listen to that jefferson airplane song wink.gif
