A TREE FELL ON OUR HOUSE LAST NIGHT!

We have several tall trees kind of close together so it is hard to tell if they are dead, but there are a couple others that we are going to have removed. I just keep thinking it could have been worse... what if it fell during Ashley's bday party with kids running around the back yard!

guess that is one of the reasons I had my tress cut back and check and we even cut one down! I was so scared that one would fall on the house!

MommyToAshley replied: Thanks everyone... yes, I was just thankful that we are all ok! It was scary, and I have never heard of a tree just falling (without a storm)! I am also thankful that Ashley's room is on the other side of the house... no trees near her room!

About two years ago, we had a tree in the front yard removed because it was too big and the roots were taking over our yard, but the others were ok at that time. So, I guess you can never be too careful.

I hope we don't have to remove too many trees, I like all the trees in the backyard. It gives it more shade and I like that nature feeling. They're a pain in the fall, but soooo pretty!

But, it looks like we have everything in the process of being fixed. Thanks for all the well-wishes! Last chance for firewood, hehe.
