6 Week U/S - Had it Today!

It is sooooo real now and I am soooo excited!!!!! Official due date is December 28th....will have a csection though so not sure yet what the date will be, probably won't know for awhile!!!

Would love a boy but really just want whatever has two arms, two legs, two eyes, two ears, one nose, all four chambers of its heart, etc. etc. etc. etc.....

ashtonsmama replied: 6 weeks and you heard the heart beat and all that?!? I had my 8 week one and they couldn't even hear it then...no HB for me. That's really early I thought. You must have gotten lucky! How sweet! Congrats!

siblingtoolivia replied: It was an internal u/s though so that is why I think we saw and heard it. She saw it on the external u/s but did the internal to get a better picture and so we could hear it!!!!!

The ultrasonographer is an employee of my OB office and she happens to be a friend of mine!!!!

BTW I was able to hear the heartbeat as well at 6wks with the transvaginal ultrasound when I was having so many problems with bleeding. It's a reassuring feeling!

siblingtooolivia replied: Although it is nice to have that internal so early, usually when they have to do it its because of a problem or fear of a problem so it can be very nervewracking......but it is very reassuring to hear that wonderful sound!!
