4th of July plans??

Anyone else have any big plans?

Insanemomof3 replied: We were going to go to James' dad's house (an 8 hour drive away) because his dad has never met Demetrius yet. James starts his week vacation next monday. But, our van had a messed up transmission and we waited until the last minute to fix it.

We may still go, but not sure yet, depends on finances. Hopefully that will be our plans for the 4th! We would leave early saturday or after work on friday if we do go...here's hoping

MissyKay2005 replied: Lake sounds fun! I don't have much plans. My son is with his father this weekend so it is just me and my hubby. NOt sure what we will do yet. But Monday I get my son back and we are going to see fire works that night.

mammag replied: I was just think of this actually. I'm trying to figure out whether to go or not because Keegan is so young and it is sooooo hot here right now. In order to get decent parking we would have to go early and it would be too long in the heat. I really want the older ones to get to see some fireworks though.

ions_momma replied: My brother is coming home from Iraq for 2 weeks tomorrow so we are going to be having a party at my mom and dad's house. We get together at thier house every year and do our own fireworks since they live out in the country.

A&A'smommy replied: Um well my parents ALWAYS have 4th of July at their house because they having a swimming pool so we are going there but we may be at his parents house this weekend because his family is coming to town... and that night we are going to the river for fireworks I'm SOOO excited!!

mom21kid2dogs replied: We're going to Red, White & Boom on July 1st. We've gone every year since it started~largest fireworks display in the Midwest. Very fun! On July 2nd we're leaving for Myrtle Beach for a week. Yippee!!!

5littleladies replied: Our big plans are for the 3rd because it is our town's sesquicentennial. We are going downtown to watch a guy get shot out of a cannon across the river , then we are going to eat fair food (cheese curds, corn on the cob, etc) while we are down there, then we are coming home to eat our traditional Jell-O cake, and then we will pack everyone up and head off to see the fireworks. On the 4th we will probably just hang out and grill and maybe go see the fireworks again-if not we will have a campfire in the backyard and toast marshmallows.

MommyToAshley replied: I think we are going to a parade in the morning, then possibly a cook out that afternoon, and then downtown to a festival and watch the fireworks. At least that is the tenative plans.

Kaitlin'smom replied: well saturday I have having my roots colored (I knew they needed done bush sheesh I saw a pic of my hair and wow) We have not talked about to much Monday I am sure we will go to a fastival and to my sisters home to swim and play with the new baby,, cook out and I think we can see the fireworks from her back yard.

I also have a 4 day weekend WOOO HOOO sleep here I come, plus doing some cleaning and laundry, yeard work...I have to much to do

We're spending the week with my Brother and SIL and will check out the fireworks there, probably.

coasterqueen replied: Ryan's family always has a MASSIVE fireworks display and cook out on the 4th but this year they decided they wanted to have it on the 3rd. But since we found out his aunt passed away this morning not sure if they'll stll have it or not .

We will be out of town celebrating my neice's birthday the 2nd and 3rd. On the actual 4th we may go out on the lake with my parents on their speed boat to watch the fireworks. Not sure, we'll play it by ear and see what Kylie wants to do since she might enjoy it better this year than last.
