4 Weeks In Toronto-Here's Another Update

It is so very frustrating to be told that your son has Leukaemia and then to be told that they are not sure. Friday evening they told us that Spencer has a condition called MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndrome) it is also known as Pre-Leukaemia. So now we have all the answers! He is going to need a bone marrow transplant and DH, Emily, Claudia and myself are all being tested to see if we are a match. This process will take about 2 weeks.

I will be speaking with another social worker today to arrange for us to be put on the waiting list for Ronald McDonald House.
