3D or 4D ultrasound
cameragirl21 wrote: if you got this done, would you mind listing approximately how much it was and what you got for it? when i say what you got, i mean how many pix, video, etc. would you say it was worth it, would you do it again, either with this pg or with your next pg? how far along do you have to be to get it? thanks....
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I paid $80 and got a CD with probably about 35-40 pictures and a video tape of the whole thing. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
cameragirl21 replied: are the pictures on the CD printable? what did you do with them if you don't mind my asking? when i say what did you do with them, i mean, did you print them and put them in an album or scrapbook or do you just keep them on CD to look at or did you just email them to family members, etc?
hopefulmomtobe replied: My 3-D ultrasound is coming up, I didn't see a place for "soon to be getting one"
holley79 replied: Never had one and dind't care one way or the other. I know people who have and that's fine also. I was just happy with my reg us pictures from the Dr.
mom21kid2dogs replied: They weren't available when I had O 6.5 years ago. I'd have paid whatever they wanted for one, though. They are incredible.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Jennifer~ is there a post that I missed somewhere? Are you expecting?
cameragirl21 replied: LOL! Nicole, trust me, when i'm pg, you all will be among the first to know! the reason i ask is because i've been asked to get involved in a business venture with a 3d/4d ultrasound place, where there is photography, plus the ultrasound plus scrapbooking involved and before i go into it, i want to have an idea of what exactly these ultrasound places provide and what kind of experience people have had with them and of course, how much money may be involved because afterall, if there is not enough money in it for me then there is no point in putting in the energy so i am asking how much it was to get an idea of what people pay to gauge what they may pay for pictures of their babies once they're born or what they may pay for maternity pics, etc. make no mistake, though, this place has given me a bit of baby fever which is why i asked earlier at what age they sleep thru the night, etc. as impulsive as i am, some part of me also likes to know what i'm getting into....
grapfruit replied: I'm with you there, of course it doesn't help that it seems like EVERYONE around me is pregnant or has a little one.
3xsthefun replied: I have never gotten one, I was happy with just the regular ultrasound.
Calimama replied: Mine was $99. It came with a video of the entire thing as well as about 50 pictures on a CD.
CantWait replied: They weren't available in my area with both Robbie or Anthony.
DillsMommy replied: I haven't had one yet (just part of mine was 3D). But they run $150 for about a 30 minute appt. You get a dvd with the video on it and 3 5x7 and 8 wallets. I'm gonna do it and play the video at my baby shower.
boyohboyohboy replied: we have had one 3D and she just gave us a 4D to see what it was like, they charge $150 for one, and you get I think 5 pics. I know we wont be paying for that one. I personally like the 3D better, the 4D was harder for me to make out, now of course we are really early in the preg..to so there wasnt much to see.
But for me, with baby number 3 on the way, I am much more lazy about pics and scrap booking then with number 1..I guess I am true to the old saying, its gets less and less with each one..
Jackie012007 replied: I didn't have one... ohhhh I wanted one SO BAD but they don't have any open places in Upstate NY, just if you are high risk and need one. They have places down int eh city but the prices were outrageous and it's about a 4 hour drive from where I am!
Cece00 replied: I think I paid like $150 & I got a video, like 5 pics & a CD with like 30 pics. It was fun, but if I had had a 5th child, I dont know that I wouldve done it again. I kind of just got it b/c I hadnt had one with my older 3 & I knew this was my last baby.
Here are some of Jack's pics.

& even though they did look like him, they didnt look quite as much like him as I expected.
This is Jack when he was born

Mom2Boyz replied: I had a 3D with both of my boys. It was $150 for a 30 minute session. We got a cd with tons of pics, a video tape, and several printed pics. IT was amazing!! I would definatly get one with a future pregnancy.
Here are a few of the pics of Caden......I don't have the ones of Conner on this computer.

Babies always give me baby fever
As for the sono-they were very new and few and far between when I was pregnant but if I am ever so blessed again-I will absolutely get one! And hey if I can scrapbook the pics at the same time what a BONUS!!!
