39 weeks - and we're still here.....
supermom wrote: Nothing much has changed from last week, except I lost another 1/2 pound, so overall I've only gained 13 pounds from when I first started going to the doctor. But, since the baby is growing, and I was overweight to begin with, the doc isn't too concerned about my weight gain (or lack thereof). I told the nurse practitioner today I hoped I was losing it in my posterior end!! LOL!! Oops, almost forgot to say the heartrate is still between 135 and 140, for all you baby-sex-guessers!!
We are 1.5 cm dialated, but still not very soft and still posterior, which means although we've made some progress, we're not near ready. So, if my cervix should happen to become favorable to induction by next week, then we'll probably induce, because he estimates that right now the baby is about 8 lbs 10 oz and still a week to go (so even bigger than Anders, which he guessed right on!). And my blood pressure is not quite as good as it was (134/80) but still not bad for me and my age and how much we are pg.
All-in-all, for as pg as I am, and and with everything else, I feel really good. I think I feel physically better than I did at this stage of the game with Anders. I am certainly doing more, helping with the house remodeling and all (last time hubby did the bathrooms when I was pg with Anders and I wasn't able to help much at all!)
Other than that, we're waiting....and waiting....and waiting.....and waiting. If anything happens, you guys will be one of the first to know...
amynicole21 replied: We're right here, waiting impatiently with you!! Keep us posted!
Schnoogly replied: Wow I can't believe you feel good enough to help around the house! I delivered at 38w5d and I am 15 years younger than you, and I was a mess! I went to the mall when I was 37 weeks to go Christmas shopping and I stayed only an hour and made the security give me a ride out to my car!
Hmmm, guess my prediction of tomorrow is probably wrong. But there's still hope!!!
mckayleesmom replied: I agree with schnoogly,,,,I couldn't even walk more then an hour anywhere my whole pregnancy. I had really bad cramping from the beggining..I ended up quiting my job after about 3 months cause I couldn't stand for long periods of time. Mckaylee always felt like she was going to fall out of my crotch at any moment...I always carried her really low.
supermom replied: Well, with Anders that is about how I felt - I spent most nights after work either in the bathtub or bed, so just remember that every pg is different - I can't believe I feel that good either - just hoping it stays that way until I deliver - lol
And yep, I doubt I go tomorrow, so I think you'll be off!!
~CrazieMama~ replied: Glad all is good. Although I do hope you go on my prediction date of the 19th. I still say it is a girl. I hope I'm right. he he he Good luck!!!!
MomofTay&Sam replied: Supermom your name fits you so well, you are trully a supermom and a superfriend at the sametime. I hope the last few days are as enjoyable as now. I am so excited to see your new son(yes son) LOL I just cant wait!! My power is dieing so dont have that little boy before I get my power back!!!!
supermom replied: Thanks, hun!! And I wouldn't be so lucky to go this early to have this little one - I do hope you are wrong, though, about it being a boy.....LOL!!
No, really, as long as we're healthy, we'll be happy.....
Mommieto2Girls replied: You have to wait till the 27 for you boy to come out...... I'm glad to hear all is well. That's great you feel good. I wasn't to bad through my whole pregnancy either. I was delivering pizza the whole time. It made it worse cause of getting in and out of the car all day. Sometimes I would go home crying cause my tummy hurt soooo bad. I ended up quiting when I turned 8 months. I got to stay home for a month before I delivered. Oooops I am rambling now. lol If they do induce , good luck and I hope all goes ok with the vbac. Hopefully your labor will be a quick one. Here are some easy labor vibes.

Kaitlin'smom replied: nope just one more week for your little girl! Aug 22nd was my guess!
my mom had told my DH to watch for the nesting then he would know I would go soon, well I never got there! I am just getting most of the cleaning out done now, 7 1/2 months later!
Mom2_my3boys replied: Aww your almost there! Hang in there. Can't wait to hear the final results!
CantWait replied: Great to hear everything is going well supermom, hang in there..not long to go. Sounds like you have a chunky monkey in there teehee (my nickname for Anthony now).
CantWait till the little one gets here
I'll start sending you these now as it won't be long to go..... ~~~~~~~~~~~Easy Labor Vibes~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MommyToAshley replied: OK Supermom, you are allowed to do some work, but not too much! You can start getting ready for that baby GIRL to come out on Aug 25th!
Seriously, I am glad that you are feeling good. But, do take it easy and save some of that energy for labor. I can't wait (I need to steal can'twait's name) for your little bundle to arrive. I am sending you some more easy labor vibes so you have them on the 25th when you go into labor.
~~~~~EASY LABOR VIBES~~~~~
supermom replied: Well, if this is nesting, this will be the first time in my life I've ever felt like that - never nested with any of the others, so it'd be a first....
And thanks for all of your encouragement.....
supermom replied: I promise I am not doing any more than I feel like, and I am getting my sleep every night........
And thanks all you guys for all the words of encouragement and all of the good vibes, I'll take all of those I can get!
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I have to add my words of encouragement as well, but you can't have that baby girl until the 30th. I felt pretty good before I had Jade as well. My DH had his premotion ceremony for Senior Airmen 3 days before Jade was born. I waddled myself up a bunch of stairs so I could be there. I walked all over the place with her. I think that is why my water broke 4 days before my due day. Hang in there girl and here are some~~~~~~~~ELVs~~~~~~~~~for good measure.
+Zemirah+ replied: Before you know it, your new baby boy boy boy boy BOY! will be in your arms (no -- that's not 5 boys LOL I just wanted to make a point ) and he will be so beautiful. Just look at your other babies. Okay -- just to give you something to do Beverly... (like, yer not busy or anything eh?) ... I have been wondering, how do you pronounce Eje?
supermom replied: That's a fair question - you say it like it's spelled A-ya (long "A" first, with the emphasis on the "ya") - the one thing I have noticed in speaking what little Swedish that I do is that mostly ALL words have the emphasis on the second syllable.......makes is sound even more lilting, I guess???? LOL!!
And, I hope that wasn't a wish for FIVE boys - ROFLMBO!! I can only handle one at a time, thank you very much!! Teehee
I read your other post to Jamie and his DW - you sound like me, left to mother nature, my babies come when they are good and darn ready!! And not a minute before. However, with my blood pressure creeping up again (although at least not until the end of my pg this time) and the baby getting to be the size of huge, then my guess is he won't leave me to mother nature if it can be nudged along safely.....
<<<HUGS>>> hun and we'll keep ya all posted.....
+Zemirah+ replied:
Oh I love how Eje's name is pronounced! All I could come up with was perhaps EH-heh.
Hey -- you hang in there. NO that wasn't a wish for five boys LMBO
Oh well, I always say due dates are for dairy products
how many smilies can I use in this one post?
Oh anyway, I'm thinking of you. Praying for you too.
Love
