It's now Feb 16th and no baby and no real signs of baby coming anytime soon. have just been having the braxton hicks contractions on and off. I do have a question though, I have an appt tomorrow and I am suppose to schedule for induction and talk about how they will induce me. My question is do they admit you in the hospital for induction or will they send me home? Overall my pregnancy as been perfect no complications at all. I'm really about inducing the labor any advice.

Yes, you are usually hospitalized for an induction. Have they checked your dates by doing U/S's? I know with #3, I was 17 days past my due date before he decided to come out. Inductions aren't usually necessary in an uncomplicated pregnancy, especially if it's your first baby. I would wait as long as possible before doing an induction, as long as baby is still doing well.

mdd27 replied: Well my last U/S was around 33/34 weeks all they did then was measurements the U/S was really quick. I havent had another once since, I think because the babies head is down and she is in position, at point it was a waiting game.I have been reading different ways of induction and I have read when they sweep the membranes which is one of the ways that they induce you that sometimes they send you home.

I'm so anxious to have her

MomToMany replied: I hated being overdue. I know the feeling of wanting the baby out, for comfort and just to see him/her! I hope your appointment goes well.

I've never had the stripping of the membranes done, so I don't know how that goes. Please let us know what you find out. This is a great group of Mommies and Daddies!
