2 More Blue Ribbons and finally pics! - County Fair!

TANNER'S MOM wrote: Okay we are so excited. Tanner took 6 animals to the fair and got 5 blue ribbons! Go Tanner~ We only got 4th on the turkey. But she is a good bird and we will keep her!

Tell him we said congrats. We know how hard he's worked, and it sure paid off.

TANNER'S MOM replied: This isn't our rabbit. We bred to the rabbit..she is a flemish giant and Bucky bred to her for her size. We are going to have big babies and then breed them back for the lop ears.

Oh, he showed a dinner turkey! We had a couple of those that we named Honey Mustard (the hen) and her hubby Bar-B-Que. They both died of a heart attack (at the same time) when DH turned on the drill in the coop. He was trying to hang nesting boxes and as soon as he turned that drill on they both dropped.

Forgot to say how big Tanner was getting and he has some major bragging rights for sure.
