"The Line"

Boo&BugsMom wrote: You know, the one that starts from the bottom of you boobs and goes down to the "nether-region" while you are preggo? Mine is still there, although thinner, still there!!! mad.gif Is this normal? When I got the preggo line with Tanner it was gone by now. Almost 6 months later, it is still there from having Aiden. ARG! I even tried to scrub it off. blush.gif No dice.

A&A'smommy replied: I had mine for a long time too at least 9 or 10 months dry.gif blush.gif

moped replied: Yeah I know "the line" and I think it took quite a long time to go away after Jack

Maybe 6 - 12 months

Sorry no help from this side

avory&samsmom replied: Yikes. i feel your pain. My son is now 4 and I still have it! Hang in there, hopefully yours will fade!

CantWait replied: Sorry, I never got one with either Robbie or Anthony. unsure.gif

PrairieMom replied: mine is gone, I wish I could say the same for my loose skin and stretch marks. eew.

Calimama replied: Mine is gone too.

lovemy2 replied: I never got the "line" with Dylan - I thought that was wierd - I had it with Olivia but don't remember it hanging around - I think I would trade the things that did stick around for the "line" though laugh.gif

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Mine took longer to get rid of the second time. Could be because our skin has BTDT and doesn't heal as naturally as it once did. I know I scar a lot quicker and longer these days. Even a minor cut, I'll have a very prominent scar. growl.gif I think my line went away at about one year or so.

HuskerMom replied: I didn't get one with Keith, I wonder if I'll get one this time. I hope not, between stretch marks and a c/s scar I don't need anything else. laugh.gif

Boo&BugsMom replied: Well, at least there is hope! laugh.gif Gosh it's so unattractive looking, I gag everytime I look at it. Ok, not literally, but it's hideous to look at and so very odd.

gr33n3y3z replied:
me either smile.gif

mammag replied: When I had mine and it didn't go away my doctor say "Well, it took nine months to fully develops so don't expect it to go away overnight". Take heart though, it really will go away.

Danalana replied: I've wondered about the line...when is an average time for it to become noticeable?

My2Beauties replied: It took a year before mine went away after hanna and I still have mine after Aubrey - I HATE HATE HATE it! Darn thing is so gross! Not to mention I have some extra flab there too I'd like to get rid of. dry.gif

indywndy_04 replied: Mine is still there. wub.gif

A&A'smommy replied:
some people don't get them wink.gif

Danalana replied: Yeah, I read that some don't get them. If I were going to get it, would it have probably come in by now?

PrairieMom replied:
No, I think it comes in way at the end.

ZandersMama replied: Mine was replaced in the OR with a nice long verticle csection scar sleep.gif

Danalana replied:
Thanks, Tara!
