? for MP3 player owners

The songs really aren't that much though and you could always get him like a $10.00 gift card for Itunes. Or have a family member get him one that way you aren't paying for them.

grapfruit replied: If maybe Troy is interested in downloads. You can get a subscription to Napster w/unlimited down loads for 9.95/month.

You can download a "trial" version of LimeWire, Napster, Kaaza and some others. He can get a couple songs.

Also, you can put CDs on the MP3 player. That might be your best bet. If you have friends or know people w/those Kid Bopz CDs you can load it that way. And a lot of them have a radio, so he can listen to the radio too.

Funny you mentioned this. Anthony asked for a MP3 for Christmas, but I don't think we could get a deal that great out here.

My3LilMonkeys replied: I use Bearshare and while it's not free, it's a yearly charge for unlimited songs - $30 or something close to that. It's well worth it for us as we download probably 100 songs a month.

And yes, you can use songs from CD's you already own.
