? for MP3 player owners
Boo&BugsMom wrote: For Christmas I am thinking of getting Tanner one, but a very cheap one. Toys r Us has one on sale on Black Friday for only $10 and it holds 120 songs. Perfect for Tanner. He's only 5 so I really do not care about quality because if it falls apart at least I am only out $10, ya know? Anyways...my question...how do you download songs? Do you have to pay for them? If so, then I am leaning against it. Are there websites you can download for free? If so, what are they?
stella6979 replied: I believe most songs you have to pay for.
Boo&BugsMom replied: Poo
stella6979 replied: The songs really aren't that much though and you could always get him like a $10.00 gift card for Itunes. Or have a family member get him one that way you aren't paying for them.
grapfruit replied: If maybe Troy is interested in downloads. You can get a subscription to Napster w/unlimited down loads for 9.95/month.
You can download a "trial" version of LimeWire, Napster, Kaaza and some others. He can get a couple songs.
Also, you can put CDs on the MP3 player. That might be your best bet. If you have friends or know people w/those Kid Bopz CDs you can load it that way. And a lot of them have a radio, so he can listen to the radio too.
lisar replied: I use Easynews. I have no idea how much it cost though cause I use my boss's.
Boo&BugsMom replied: You can use CD's that you aleady have and download them that way??? That would be cool and way easier.
Anthony275 replied: yep, import the cds in itunes and it'll make its own folder of the album on your hard drive, and there just plug the mp3 player in
luvbug00 replied: usually you can burn your cd's and limewire you can get alot of songs off of.
I recently got the muppets chrismas carol downloaded from there.
CantWait replied: We use LimeWire and only paid I about $30 for a years service, maybe less.
Funny you mentioned this. Anthony asked for a MP3 for Christmas, but I don't think we could get a deal that great out here.
My3LilMonkeys replied: I use Bearshare and while it's not free, it's a yearly charge for unlimited songs - $30 or something close to that. It's well worth it for us as we download probably 100 songs a month.
And yes, you can use songs from CD's you already own.
MotherForever2043 replied: we use LimeWire..but don't have to pay for the songs
A&A'smommy replied:
do NOT use these unless you plan to pay for them!!!
A&A'smommy replied: if you are d/ling them illegally I would stop immediatly very recently they have started tracking those who are a LOT harder than before!!!
MotherForever2043 replied: Really?! i didn't know that. I'm stop for sure! Thanks for the info
Boo&BugsMom replied: Is it free to do that?
Anthony275 replied: yep. you need itunes and you just import the disc when you put your cds in
