Please ask all questions here !!!!!
Mommieto2Girls replied: Sorry I am so late posting this morning. We are sick as dogs over here .
What your worst habit?
Fav food and dessert?
How many more children do you want?
DansMom replied: Everybody's getting sick!!! I hope you feel better soon!
My worst habit is making an assumption before I have all the facts. I have been working on that a lot.
My favorite food is probably cereal and milk. When I was single I would prefer that over cooking anything, especially when I was in a hurry. After that, scrambled eggs and fried potatos are my favorite quick meal. My favorite dessert is pudding, without a doubt. Any kind of pudding! Notice there are no vegetables listed above---but I do love avocados.
I think we'll stick to one child because we're both older. Plus we're both exhausted right now! Maybe when we are getting more sleep we'll think about trying for another. DH brought up the possibility of adopting in a few years. We love being parents.
Mommieto2Girls replied: Thanks, we had just woke up, that's way so late.
Do you have any tattoos or piercings?
Do you a emberessing moment you would like to share?
A&A'smommy replied: hey

mckayleesmom replied: Where did you meet dh?
Did you like him right away?
Where is your dream vacation?
amynicole21 replied: What was your HS mascot?
What was your favorite band when you were a teenager?
What is your first memory from your childhood?
ediep replied: Where did you go on your first date? Did you go to college? Ever have any interesting jobs?
DansMom replied: I have two holes in my left ear and one in my right. No tattoos, but considered a ladybug for many years.
My most embarrassing moment was in college. I was pretty disorganized then, had trouble getting to the laundromat, and so wore things as much as I could before making the big trip. Well, one day I'm walking to class and feel something by my ankle. I looked down, and a pair of underwear from the previous wearing of those jeans was emerging from the bottom of my pantleg as I walked. There were lots of people around---it was horrible! (Don't think less of me---I was very young!)
DansMom replied: I enjoy doing the New York Times Sunday crossword puzzle more than anything. I rarely get a chance to relax that way these days.
My favorite thing Dan does is the "you chase me, I'll chase you game". He laughs so hard, and he has the best laugh!
DansMom replied: I met my Husband at a jazz concert, where he was a patron and I was an usher. We knew somebody in common who was also in attendance, so I was present during their conversation and talked a bit myself.
I did like him right away---in fact I later asked my friend whether he was single, and she set us up and chaperoned our first date with her boyfriend. A strange part of that story is that she and her boyfriend broke up that same night---so it was their last date and our first date!
My dream vacation has to be a European tour. I decided three years ago that by the time I'm 40 I'll either have a child or travel to Europe. The baby won out!
DansMom replied: I went to a very small alternative school in rural Maine, and graduated with a class of 2! (Me and John Seigel.) We didn't have any sports program, and so did not have a mascot, and I do feel I missed out on that aspect of growing up! We did have a resident cat, a female named Charlie!
I was into singer-songwriter music of previous eras as a teenager. I liked Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, James Taylor, Simon and Garfunkel, the Beatles and stuff like that. My friends liked Queen and Aerosmith, who were popular at the time. For singer-songwriters who were current with my teen years, I liked Billy Joel and got into Fleetwood Mac as well.
My first memory was when we were stationed in Pensacola Florida (my dad was in the Navy). I was about three, and I tried to follow a rainbow. I think I had a story book where there is a pot of gold at the end. I couldn't understand how the rainbow kept staying the same distance away even though I would walk toward it!
DansMom replied: Our first date was at a nightclub called "The Magic Bag". There was a surf-music competition of the bands that night. Neither DH nor I were into the music, but that was good---we just talked all night!
I got an English degree at the University of Michigan. I also attended the University of Southern Maine for one year before transferring.
My most interesting job was a CETA-funded internship in high school with SALT magazine. We learned everything from conducting, taping and transcribing interviews to writing feature stories, taking photographs to go with the stories and using the darkroom. And we got paid! It started my interest in publishing and now I work in publishing, so that federally funded program was effective in motivating me to succeed.
