Please ask all personal questions here!!!!

Mommieto2Girls replied: What's your worst habit?

Do you have any tatoos or piercings?

What is your fav food and dessert?

aspenblue1 replied: Do you have any hobbies?

amynicole21 replied: How long did it take you to conceive Iain?

What is your guilty pleasure?

Do you visit the dentist every 6 months? Do you floss? wink.gif

coasterqueen replied: Do you have any siblings and if so how well do you get along with them?

Schnoogly replied:
That's right I forgot it's my day!

Worst habit...picking at zits probably. And never cleaning.

Only ears pierced, no tatoos. I'm a chicken.

Fav food, oh that's tough. Prob mac & cheese, or anything mexican. Dessert--gotta be ben & jerry's phish food ice cream. Or really good carrot cake.

Schnoogly replied:
Yes indeed. I love to sew, and have made 15 diapers for Iain so far, plus I made my wedding dress, the maid of honor's dress, the flower girl's dress, and lots of clothes for myself.

Also I love to cook, and do arty things, like draw, paint, sculpt. Don't have time for those anymore though. I also play guitar and sing but haven't done that in a while either. I was in an early music acapella group in college and I miss that.

Schnoogly replied:
It took exactly one month to conceive. We were actually hoping it would take a little longer because we were in the process of buying a house and I didn't want to move while pregnant, but I knew I was PG way before I even took the test. I just *knew*

Guilty pleasure...right now, trash TV. Especially Paradise Hotel (smack me, but I find it fascinating)

Good lord, no. I'm terrible. I'm so lucky to have really good teeth, I have only ever had one cavity, and it was underneath my braces that I had for 4 years. I floss sometimes blush.gif not as often as I should. I've actually been meaning to go to the dentist. It's been about 2 years blush.gif

DansMom replied:
Where did you meet DH, and did you know right away that he was the one?

What was your best subject in school?

What do you like most about yourself?

What does DH like most about you?

A&A'smommy replied: whats your most embarressing moment?

What is your fav. food?

maliksmommy replied: Do you like sports?

If so, favorite team?

What did you want to be growing up?

Schnoogly replied:
Met DH in college at a dance--our dates went home with each other so we were left alone. Definitely didn't know that he was the one...thought he was kind of a dork actually (sorry daddy_to_schoogly). It took about a year and a half for us to get together, which happened when he house-sat for us over Christmas break. Then he won me over wub.gif with his gentleness and kindness. He is a prince among frogs for sure.

Since I am still technically in school, I have to say history since that is what I am getting my PhD in. I was also pretty good at science in high school but decided it wasn't the career for me.

I like that I am friendly, outgoing, independent, and capable.

I think DH likes my wit and ability to entertain. Geez, you'll have to ask him this one!! blush.gif

Schnoogly replied:
Hmmm...most embarassing moment probably in high school when I wrote a paper about music for my English class and when it was handed back I said loudly to my friend that I was sure the teacher wouldn't understand it and she was standing right behind me!! blush.gif

Fav food--see previous post.

Schnoogly replied:
Sports, not really. I do like to watch tennis, and enjoyed the US Open the last few weeks. My mom watched football a lot when I was growing up and we were big 49er fans since we lived in the SFO area.

Growing up I wanted to be a scientist. Carl Sagan was my hero.

ediep replied: I had a friend in HS names Ian....do you pronounce Iain's name like that?

where did (do) you go to college?

Ever have any intresting jobs?

Do you have siblings?

Does Iain have cousins?

I am facinated by the fact that you made your wedding dress....have any pics we can see?

Schnoogly replied: Yeah just like the regular Ian. It's the gaelic spelling (our families are Irish)

I went to college in Portland OR at Reed College. I got my MA and am working on my PhD at Claremont Graduate University in california.

Interesting jobs...well other than teaching jobs (which are pretty interesting) not really. Most of my college and post-graduation jobs have been pretty boring--library work, data entry, admin assistant mostly.

Yes I have 2 brothers, one is 2 years younger and the other is 14 years older than me (he is my dad's son, only a half brother). I don't talk to him much and my younger brother and I aren't that close. My younger brother is an odd duck, kind of anti-social, and our relationship is kind of awkward because of that.

On Dh's side Iain has two cousins--a 4 year old girl & a 13 month old boy and on my side three cousins, ages 17, 15, and 10.

I do have wedding pics but they're not scanned in. I will post them whenever I get a chance!

Keep the questions coming--it's a great break from my writing!!

ediep replied: do you have a tv show that you hate to miss?

What is your all time favorite movie?

WHich do you prefer: ice cream or frozen yogurt?

what is your favorite pizza topping?

where did you go on your first date?

Schnoogly replied: Definitely stargate sg-1. Used to be Buffy but that's over. I do watch Angel and some other shows but stargate is the one I will tape.

All time favorite movie...this is a hard one. Probably either Contact or Harold and Maude

Ice cream, for sure!

Pizza...black olives probably

First date...pretty sure it was a movie. Can't remember which one though. Maybe the first batman?
