TLCDad replied: First, sorry everyone for not getting to my spotlight until late this evening.
Thats a good one since so many thoughts/feelings went through my head all at once. But I just remember the amazement of my instant love for someone so small and so new. I knew of course I would love her but I just did not know it would be that strong so sudden. Theres very few words on how to explain but I am sure everyone knows this feeling.
TLCDad replied: Favorite had to be science. Worse would be history/social studies.
TLCDad replied: hehe I will probably get some bad looks at the least from the first one
TLCDad replied: Thats a cross between Fridays (mmm Jack Daniels Ribs) and Frickers (mmm Chicken Wings).
ediep replied: what was your first girlfriend name? Which college did you go to? Did you commute or dorm at college? What was your major? What was the last concert that you went to?
TLCDad replied: Hmmm, I guess I was a nerdy hood. lol. I was into scifi and computers (which was nerdy back then) but I dressed hoody for the most part. Some even thought I was a drugy even though I did no drugs or anything... I guess they figured that since I did skip school alot and would sometimes only come in to do my DJ'ing (we had a radio station).
TLCDad replied:
Yep its fun.
MommyToAshley replied: I'm not stubborn, just always right.
What do you like most about being a Dad?
What do you like least?
How has your life changed the most since becoming a Daddy?
TLCDad replied: Hmm I've been told I resemble Nicholas Cage. Especially when I was younger and the movie "Raising Arizona" was out.
TLCDad replied: Hmm, That is a tough one. I am happy with what I have but like anyone else, I always long for more. .... the boy with the most toys wins
TLCDad replied: Hmm its been awhile (many years) but I am sure it was a Christan Rock Concert. I believe it was White Cross. Was very cool.. I met the band members and they signed my t-shirt.
TLCDad replied: Hmmm.... alot has changed... No more free time... More responsibilties, etc. Of course all well worth it.
Jamie replied: what advice would you give to an expecting father?
what was your biggest surprise/reward becoming a dad?
what do you love most about DeeDee?
what is the key to your successful marriage?
Jamie & Kimberley
TLCDad replied: #1 Patience. There will always be disagreements in any relationship. The key is to brush them off and not dwell or be impatient. Plus the making up can be awarding. (sometimes that can be the best passionate sex) Also try to find something you both love to do and do that often. We do not go out alot but we are able to entertain each other at home by playing multiplayer computer games that we enjoy to do together or just relaxing and having a movie night. If you have a hobby and your wife does not like the same hobby try to find one you both enjoy and do that too. Don't give up your own private time hobbies of course. Both need time alone here and there. Honestly I am surprised we do not fight often since we work at home we are around each other 24hrs a day. But I guess thats why your wife should also be your best friend as well as lover.
kit_kats_mom replied: The Keys not hot???? Are you outta your mind? LOL
