Guest_Mckayleesmom replied: Mckaylee was breastfeed till she was about 2 and a half months, I would have loved to continue, but my milk supply thought different.

She varies on how much formula she gets a day, she usually eats about 4 oz every 2 or 3 hours, except at night cause she sleeps throught the night.

Her room is decorated in precious moments.

Mckaylee was born 6lbs 1oz, and she was 17 inches long.

Now she is 12lbs and she is almost 22 inches.

Her first smile was at mommy making faces at her..


By the way I forgot in my last response that Mckaylee will only take a binky once in a blue moom, and it has to be dipped in something,,juice, milk or water.

Up until a couple of days ago she would wake up and wine and when I went in the room she would just smile and get excited to see me, but within the last couple of days instead of wining she has been talking to herself.

Mckaylee sleeps in her crib, she always has,,she would never sleep in the bassinet. Occassionally I will let her take naps in her swing, or at least use the swing to get her to sleep. And she does sleep through the night

We got her name from me really, I made it up. I use to love the name Mckayla, but it is now so popular, so I just changed the end. I didn't want her to go to school with another girl with her name.

Mckaylee is a thumb sucker, but now its more like her whole hand. One of her sonogram pictures is actually one of her sucking her thumb.

Shes not really attached to anything yet, but she does love having a blanket,,she is going to be a blanky girl I think,,,

Mckaylees eyes are usually blue, but at night they sometimes turn a green color.

She definantly looks more like me,,but she does look like her dad when shes crabby.

Mckaylees favorite time of the day is bath time. She loves to splash and splash. She doesn't even care if she gets water on her face. Shes becoming a little daredevil too. I am starting to catch her putting one eye under water to see what happens. And she actually cries when I take her out.

I use a brand called Parents Choice. I usually get it at walmart, but I have seen it in other places. The parents choice kind are the only ones that I like the smell of and they are good priced.

For bath products I use baby magic. I have everything baby magic right now, but I don't use the powder cause it smells like perfume and I don't like that.

Yes daddy helps out with her alot.. and actually he took care of her the first week after we got home cause I had a c-section and no family around to help out.

She doesn't have a walker yet.

I have a pack and play and it will probably get used sometime. Not yet thought.

My favorite outfit on her is one my mom sent her and its neon green plaid and it has little purple and pink flowers sewn on the top, it also has a little bonnet, but it doesn't fit her.

Right now its mommy, but its daddy when she is mad at mommy when she doesn't get her way. She knows that if he is in the room and she cries that he can't resist picking her up.

Accasionally she will have night terrors but shes pretty easy to calm cause shes usually crying in her sleep.

She looks like mommy most definantly, but she looks like Leithan when shes mad.

No allergies yet. (knock on wood), But I never had allergies and either did DH, so Im hoping she won't get them.
