?? about ebay - baby clothes
mckayleesmom wrote: Im trying to decide if I want to sell on Ebay or take them to a consignment shop and trade them. Anyone have any luck selling clothes on Ebay? Any tips?
mckayleesmom replied: guess it might help if I find my camera batteries and find out where the post office on base is first...LOL
Kaitlin'smom replied: my sitter sells on ebay alot, she does things in lots, several items for one price.
mckayleesmom replied: thats what I was going to do...was just wondering if she was successfull at it.
mckayleesmom replied: I also have a breastpump and nursing tops I never wore to try to sell....Some still have tags on them....They were like 25 dollar shirts.. . I want to wash them before I sell them though..they have been sitting. I also have maternity tops and 2 pairs of maternity pants...one set of pants still has tags also because my fat butt couldn't fit in the legs...and the tummy was too big.
Kaitlin'smom replied: what kinda of pump, is it old or new? my sister needs one and really doens not have tons to spend on one
yes she sometime is successful, but mostly with name brands or new with tags. If they are new with tage dont wash them, just put in the description that they they are new never been worn or wahed. most people wash all clothes beofre there kids wear them anyway
mckayleesmom replied: Ya,,but they have been sitting in my basement for a long time...I might just save the tags. The pump is a Baileys Nature....I have all the bottles and extra bottles and its got a new parts kit also. Its basically got 2 of everthing besides the things that go over your breast...I dropped them one day and they cracked...so I ordered new ones...then I got hopitalized and was told not to breastfeed..so all the parts are new.

mckayleesmom replied: hold on...Let me find the link...I believe it is an older style pump
mckayleesmom replied: Here is the link to it...... http://www.breast-pump.com/electric.htm
Kaitlin'smom replied: cant access that at work its restriced, anyway I will send the like to my sister, how much do you want for it, incase she is interested, and can you still get parts and such for it, and was it good?
mckayleesmom replied: For a dual pump though...this one sucks and if she is looking for something that she can do both breast with at the same time...then this isn't the one....It was really hard, so I just did one at a time.
mckayleesmom replied: man..I can't find the ice pack to it...dangit.
mckayleesmom replied: Im only asking 75 for it....because..I can't find the ice pack...Im sure any kind can fit in between in the bag...and also...because only 2 of the bottles that the lady sold it to me with are Baileys and fit in the cup holder things. The others are Medena. I don't think she would like this one if she is breastfeeding to store milk for the babysitter though...Just being honest.
Kaitlin'smom replied: okay thanks we will keep looking for her
dolfinrse replied: It is very funny that you asked about this because I was going to start going through Zack's outgrown clothes in the next few days and see what I could sell on ebay. If you go and look to see what is for sale and getting bid on, it seems like all the clothes are selling. So I think I have to get my butt in gear and start doing this!
mckayleesmom replied: me too...I think I will make more....I want to put the money towards Russells bedroom furniture.....Right now he is in a pack and play and would like to get him a crib...McKaylee broke the old one with her chubby butt.
dolfinrse replied: Being that we know this baby is going to be a girl, I know that the baby boy clothes will just go to waste, so I figured what I would do is sell the boy clothes on ebay and use that money to go and buy girl clothes.
My coworkers had a baby shower for me a few weeks ago and I got a lot of beautiful summer clothes, but I have no girl pajamas/sleepers. So that is what I was going to buy with my ebay money.
I was actually looking for other stuff around the house that we don't use so that I can sell it too. DH wasn't too thrilled with that idea, but why have it go to waste, someone else could always use it.
mckayleesmom replied: I know..if you don't use it,,,might as well....I have 2 or 3 nursing tops I never wore.. and nursing pajamas too
luvbug00 replied: Hi Gang, My b/f is a serious ebay freak! He was able to sell lot's of gadgets and stuff. He has sold a few clothes but they usually don't sell for much. We find the trick to make your idems more desirable is to put a 3 day time limit and start the bidding at 5 cents. We also got paypal because most ebay buyers won't buy if you don't have paypal. ( the only problem is they are sooo anal and anything that doesn't sit right with them they will restrict your accout and you can't withdraw money.)
mckayleesmom replied: Thanks for the info...we already have paypal...I know my husband has sold stuff..but I never have...
luvbug00 replied: Well i'd give it a go, but we gave all mya's old stuff away. Good luck!!
