kimberley replied: good getting to know you better, Sara!
care to share that homemade pot pie recipe? what are your hobbies? tell us about your engagement and wedding? how did you tell DH you were pg? describe yourself in 3 words.
please post some pics of you!
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Ooh a musical would be fun to see!
anyway this is your first, how many kids are you wanting/planning/gonna have? Well I'd like to have about 4 or 5, but who knows if I'll wanna stop when we get to 5! I don't think Scott cares how many we have.
do you have any unualy pearsing (other than ears) nope just my ears. I almost got a belly ring a few summers ago and I still think it'd be cool.
any tatoos? no - I'm way too afraid of needles.
Josie83 replied: Where did you go for your honeymoon? Do you have any brothers or sisters? What is your favourite way to spend a Sunday afternoon? If you could on holiday anywhere in the world, where wud you go? xx
~Roo'sMama~ replied: care to share that homemade pot pie recipe? sure if you want it. I think I got it out of my Betty Crocker cookbook.
what are your hobbies? I don't really have any... other than reading everything I can get my hands on. I'm pretty lame. I want to learn to knit though!
tell us about your engagement and wedding? Do you have all day? He proposed by buying me a coat and insisting on gift wrapping in for me - even though I was with when he bought it. When I opened it my ring was inside. My wedding was a mix of fun and disaster. I had always wanted a spring wedding but because one of my bridesmaids was going to be out of the country that spring we went for February but I insisted on yellow for my color and daisies for my flower anyways. It was really pretty - I think my favorite part of my wedding is my flowers. I posted about my cake in LeAnn's thread - that was terrible. We had my brother take our pics and hardly any of them turned out, and I forgot my list so I forgot to get pics with Jen who was my personal attendant and her brother who was my piano player. I'm still really bummed about that. Other than those things and the fact that I had the worst cold I've ever had in my entire life, it was a great day!
how did you tell DH you were pg? We had just started trying... like 2 weeks before. He told me I could buy a test because I was so weepy and wanted to know so bad, so he was expecting it. The positive was really faint though so for a couple of days we didn't know for sure. When I finally convinced him it was really positive he was happy.
describe yourself in 3 words. I hate these type of questions! Right now, I'd say Lazy, Hungry and Messy!
please post some pics of you! Weeellll, I don't have any recent pics of me. Dh has to take a belly pic of me soon. But here are some pics from my wedding 2 years ago - I was skinnier then.

This one is a couple months after our wedding holding Jennifers Brianna. The only pictures I look comfortable in are the ones for me holding a baby!

K ~ I edited the size of the pics.. hopefully they're not too monstrous now!
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Holy cow those turned out big!! They looked teeny on photobucket!!! Sorry!
eta the first one is me and my sister Anne. She was 5 months pregnant - on of the reasons we couldn't have a summer wedding.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Where did you go for your honeymoon? We went to an Inn on the North Shore of Lake Superior. We stayed in a really nice suite in the boat house looking right over the rock shore. It was really pretty! It was really cold that winter though and I was sick so we didn't do much. I'd like to go back there in nicer weather.
Do you have any brothers or sisters? Yes I have 2 sisters, Jackie and Anne, and one brother, Joe. They're all married and my sisters have kids... my brother is a cranky guy who doesn't like the noise kids make.
What is your favourite way to spend a Sunday afternoon? I think i answered this in the survey. But I just realized that I was thinking of winter sunday afternoons... I love Sunday afternoons in the summer when we grill out with our friends after church and then play games or just hang out until the church softball game where we sit and watch our husbands lose miserably! Allthough I have to say last year they did quite well.
If you could on holiday anywhere in the world, where wud you go? xx Europe - especially England and Ireland. Maybe if I ever get my trip to Europe I can pop in on you while I'm in London!
ediep replied: do you plan on nursing? I should know this...but do you know if you are having a boy or girl? Is the baby's room done? Did you go to college? Major?
~Roo'sMama~ replied: do you plan on nursing? Yep! I've had dreams of it going all wrong though.
I should know this...but do you know if you are having a boy or girl? no we're going to be surprised. The next baby I'm going to get my way and find out!
Is the baby's room done? No not even close. Our whole upstairs needs to be sheetrocked.. I'm starting to get nervous that it's not going to be done!
Did you go to college? Major? No I didn't go - all I've ever wanted to be was a mommy so I didn't see the point. I thought about going to nursing school for a little while - it would be awesome to be an ob nurse but I don't think I would have wanted to stick with it for long because I want to be at home with my babies.
paradisemommy replied: describe your perfect evening out. do you live close to your family? what was your very first job you ever had? if you won the lotto, what would you do with the money?
i love your college answer..i went for a while but just like you have only wanted to be a mommy so i figured i was wasting my time!!
and thanks for sharing pics!! it's great to be able to put a face to the name!!! you are very pretty!!
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Aww thanks. I sometimes feel inadequate since I didn't go to college or like I didn't prepare myself enough but I guess you don't need a degree to raise your kids!
describe your perfect evening out. Something simple but romantic.. maybe dinner and then a walk somewhere by a lake or someplace quiet.
do you live close to your family? I live 4 hours away from my family I suppose that's a lot closer than a lot of people are to their family's but it's not close enough for me!
what was your very first job you ever had? I worked from noon until 5 at the bakery in the small town I lived near. I was all by myself in a store full of doughnuts - you can just imagine.
if you won the lotto, what would you do with the money? Lol this subject comes up a lot in my house. Dh and I both agree that if we ever won a ton of money that we would pay off our debt, and our parents and family and friends debts and buy a house in the country. If we had any left over after all that we would invest it somehow... dh would probably start a business of his own.
loveydad replied: That's a great pic of you with Brianna!!
I think it's really cool that you and my wife are due within 1-2 days of each other! nice getting to know you better!
