In order to prolong the game a bit, we will only allow 5 guesses per day. make sure yours isn't wasted!
(guesses meaning you can only ask "is the mystery parent 'name'?" 5 times in one day. you may ask as many questions as you like. hope that makes sense.)

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I have an idea...Maybe we should play "Guess the Parent" Where the mystery parent gives facts about herself and she/he chooses what she/he wants to share and we have to guess who it is.  We can't ask questions this time and after 24 hours or so we can start guessing who it is. Sort of a twist and it will make it more difficult.

I have 2 kids
Country music is my favorite
What do you think?? Could be fun!
Just thought of something else....
Maybe each day we have a certain "category" of questions they answer. Like the first day they list 5 of their favorite things, the second day they give 5 facts about their family and so on and then on Friday we can try to guess who it is.

the mystery parent is chosen at random. every monday, we start a new mystery parent thread where people are allowed to ask yes or no questions in order to guess which member of the board is the mystery parent this week. once the person is guessed, that person becomes the parent in the spotlight. hope that clears it up for you

i like the idea of limiting the info given out per day, but don't want it to drag on until friday since most people are away from the board on the weekend and the actual spotlight of the parent is the main idea behind it. maybe i will start a new poll asking how everyone wants the spotlight run. thanks for the great ideas, Aimee!
