Jade is currently 32" tall and 24.4 lbs.

Her favorite snack of the moment is Whole Wheat Ritz Crackers. She will carry around the tube of them and snack on them as she goes.

Actually yes last May we went home to Naples FL to visit her my parents and then we headed to West Virginia to visit her daddy's parents.

Jade loves to color...Everything. I have to watch her because she would color on the walls if she was allowed to.

Jade's birth was rather long. I was in labor for about 14 hours. Things went a lot better after I got the epidural. I was having a problem dilating, but was able to dilate fully after I was given the drug. Otherwise it was an experience and at the end I was finally able to hold my baby girl.

I get a memeorable moment with Jade almost everyday now. She's such a little comedian. I guess one of my favorites was the first time I saw her face. She was just so small, but she had such big blue eyes and she just gave me his look like she was studying me. Then I got to hold her.

I love snuggle time. It takes us both a littl while to wake up in the morning so I take her to bed with me and we snuggle and watch Scooby Doo. I get kisses and hugs. It's the best.

Anywhere outside. She loves to be outside and playing. It doesn't really matter where. She can go down the slide all by herself and play with the other kids. That is just heaven to her.

Jade does not have any cousins yet. Both of my brothers are unmarried. She is the first in the family. First grandchild, first great-granchild. Just like her Mommy.

Yup. To Florida and WV.

Jade's favorite food is hotdogs. She would eat those things all day if I let her.

Jade's room is pretty simple. We live in Base Housing so we really weren't able to paint it. So white walls. She has her crib and changing table in there as well. The only time she is in her room is for sleep since we live in a two story house.

At the moment she's a mommies girl. Her daddy is in Florida and won't be home for another 4 weeks. I have a feeling her sentiment will change once her daddy gets home.

Jade has a couple. There are three other people who help me take care of Jade. There's Tonya, Theresa, and Amanda. She even goes through a crying fit when these people leave. Jade is a very friendly, outgoing little girl. She says hi and bye to about everyone who walks by.

Let's see. There's Taven of course. Then there is Lyli, Corban, Chase, James, Colby and Cody. She loves boys all ready so I think we are in trouble. She is always loving on Corban who is 5. It's cute actually.

I think Jade is a little bit of both. She loves to shop. When we are in the clothes section she will point at outfits and try to grab at them. Shoes, I can't try a pair of shoes on her without buying them. She gets really mad. Then when we get home she runs around outside and plays in the dirt. I guess she's well rounded.

I usually listen to a soft rock station. I actually have kids music on CD and I keep forgetting to bring it into the car. Jade usually doesn't care as long as I'm singing it to her.

Jade will sit adn watch TV, but is usually too busy to stop. The only show that she will actually sit and watch is Tom & Jerry. She really likes that.

Her first word was Da Da. I knew that was going to happen. Now I hear Mommy Mama and Mom all the time.

My Mom got her this box with a bunch of little dianey stories for Christmas. She loves the Bambi one. This book is maybe four pages long and I think I know it by heart now.

Funny, Energetic, Loving.

I love to sing Somewhere Over the Rainbow to her. When she first weaned and we were trying to get her to go to sleep in other ways I would sing that to her to sooth her. Every now and then if she has a nightmare or wakes up mad I will sing it to her to calm her down.

I sware she is going to work in PR. She is just so friendly and outgoing. That or a movie star because this kid just becomes a ham when there's a camera on her.

Hmmm...this one is a tough one. I think it's the Old Navy sun dress I bought her last weekend. It just looks so good on her. So much so that I might have to go buy her more.

I want her to know that there is nothing that she can't do. I would like her to know that dreams can come true you just have to have the courage and strength to pursue them.

Wow Cary you're making me think today. It's the weekend. I think if Jade could describe me she would say that I am loving and strong. She will probably say that I'm mean sometimes because I don't let her get away with everthing she wants. She would probably descibe DH as funny. He does the best playing with her.

Jade LOVES animals. They are her favorite things. She just loves to pet and hug on them.

Jade doesn't really have a favorite color. For her it is anything that is bright.

Jade started walking right at 11 months. She didn't crawl too long. Walking got her where she need to go faster.

Right now it's anything that is round. She just started to throw. So whenever wee see anything round she points and says ball.

She has 4 of them. At night she has to sleep with Ducky, Bear, Whinnie, blue, and a lobster. I have know idea how she sleeps with all of these things shoved under her.

LOL!!!! We are hoping, but not for a litte while.

Jade and I went down to Bubba Gumps for lunch and then walked around the Ala Moana, which is a mall here in Hawaii. I wound up buying her a nice jean sundress from Old Navy with matching shoes and a bright orange and green volleyball. She saw them and said ball and I figured what the heck. She's really into balls right now. Then we came home, she took a nap, and when she woke up we went outside so she could run around with her friends and I could gossip. It was a great day. The Easter Bunny was in the BX the other day and she really didn't pay attention to him which was weird. We got her pic taken with him last year and never got around to it this year.

She always laughs the hardest when she is running away with something I want and I'm chasing her. Like last week she got a hold of my checkcard and when I made to get it from her she took off down the hallway. She thinks she's funny.

I think the first time she laughed she was about 3 or 4 months old. A friend of mine was making funny faces at her and it actually got her to laugh. She wouldn't laugh for anyone else for a while after that. Now I love to hear her laughter. I can't help but laugh along with her.

I find myself taking more pictures of her. I have a video camera, but I never think to take the thing out. I'm trying to think if I have any pics of her that I haven't shared with you guys. LOL!!!! If I do find some I will post them for sure.

She seems to like everything that I allow her to eat. I really can't think of any that she doesn't like. She didn't like tator tots which I just couldn't believe. It's the only food I can think of.

LOL!!!!! Climbing all over everything. My child is a monkey and she knows that I don't like her climbing unto things. One of her favorite things that she likes to do is climb up on the coffee table and dance. She always gives me this face like I know I'm getting into trouble, but I don't care. She also likes to point at things that I don't like her touching and says No.

I love the way she says balloon. It's sounds like ba-oon. She skinned up her knee the other night and as I was cleaning it up I asked her if she got a boo boo. She pointed at her knee and said boo boo in this pitiful voice. That was so cute. She also has this little person toy that I call her buddy. She calls him buddy too. He sleeps on the changing tabel at night and when she gets up in the morning she always points at him and says buddy. I just love the way she talks.
