I just got back from the mall & checked in. I totally didn't know that it was our turn. LOL

She is sorta talking. She calls the cat "dat" and she is pointing at lots of things. She says da da and mmmmm and yum. No mom yet which bums me out but whatever. Oh and she says di-dee when I am changing her diaper.

She is a cruising fiend. She has forgotten to hold on quite a few times now and she will take a few steps on her own until she realizes what shes doing.

She is a little bird eater. She just nibbles for the most part. This is the first week that she has actually finished an entire baby food jar of anything over the course of 2 feedings. She loves peas, sweet potatos, yo-baby yogurt (which I mix some rice cereal into to make it easier to feed), vanilla hagen daz (who doesn't) and dutch apple baby food. She hates applesauce, peaches, and pears.

She gets some of our table food (daddy gave her some tuna fish yesterday and she kept coming back for more) and I make the potatos and peas. She also LOVES cheerios and other crackers.

She's still kinda on the small side so we are trying to fatten her up.

She was 7 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches at birth.

at her 9 month checkup she was 15 lbs 13 oz but I'm sure she is up to 16 lbs now. I think she was 27 inches long.

She loves anything with buttons. In fact she is turning the tv off and on right now. She has a walker that she loves too. It's a push car thing and she pulls up and cruises around the living room. She is really into the discovery ball and learning drum that we bought her too.

We BF...all the time. We co-sleep so she nurses all night and so frequently during the day that I don't even count. She is for sure a boobie monster!

As a matter of fact, yes she does! she loves that thing.

Her favorite game is to play peek a boo around the corner of the couch. I let her just play peek aboo for awhile then I'll drop down to the floor and chase her back around the corner. That really gets her giggling! She loves to be chased, suprised and tickled.

She has alot of favorite toys. I answered that one above so I'll tell you about her favorite activitys. She loves bathtime, storytime and the infant swings at the park.

She sleeps for crap. She wakes us up all night and now that she has been sleep crawling all over the bed, it's even worse. She goes to bed between 10pm to 1am but she usually sleeps until 9 or 10. I don't even know how many times she gets up a night anymore. I pretty much just roll over, pop a boob in her mouth and pass back out.

She had been napping really well but she has been refusing to get into her crib lately. I put the crib mattress on the floor and now I lay down with her and nurse her to sleep then I can get up and do things without worrying about her. She will nap really well if I hold her. I would say she gets about 2-4 hours of napping in a day.

Her nursery is in our bedroom. We don't really have a theme or anything. Just sage, cream and light wood. We are pretty contempory people and so her room isn't too over the top.

My favorite outfit? I have so many! Right now I really love her little overalls, pink tennies and a pink tee.

no pool yet. I'm too embarassed to don a swimsuit! we have taken her to the beach though & she liked that.

I have her pics professionally done every 3 months

DH is great. he doesn't feed her much but he will if I ask. he does change alot of diapers and he gives her a bath every other day.

Well, she was wearing a little white top with a pink bear on it and some pink & white checked shorts with white socks and her pink tennies. After the sweet potato lunch ended up all over the top, she is now in a diaper.

She loves her daddy. He takes her to the mall or the park almost every evening after work. She loves to dance with him and she enjoys it when he flies her around the room.

She bathes in a baby tub in the bath.

She was a really easy going baby but she has recently become more clingy. She is curious but she stays pretty close to me these days when strangers are around.

Saving for college! ROFLMAO!!! I have to pay off my student loans first! Honestly, no, my parents have started a college fund and I figure it will pay for her first semester or so. When I go back to work full time, I plan to start saving more for her.

I think I would perfer her to be really smart. I have met way too many beautiful women who were so dull because they relied on their looks. I have also known too many wealthy people who just aren't real...if you know what I mean.

Loved me no matter what. That is so cool!

she is really a good girl, or else I'm pretty lenient. The only things that she does that she is not supposed to do (and you know she knows that by the way she looks around when she is doing them ) is grab the cat and climb the stairs. Our stairs are really close to the entertainment center and if she climbs them and falls backwards, she will smack her head on the entertainment center. I really dont' want that to happen. She keeps going for them though. little bugger.

well, it had been her peek aboo around the couch and running away from me, with waving bye bye following a close second. Her giggles are always up there too. However, yesterday I was laying on the floor watching her play and she crawled over to me, sat up, put her elbows on my chest and leaned in to give me a big slobbery kiss right on the mouth. She kept doing it too. That just melted my heart. She is such a sweetie!

What kind of music does she like?

Her favorite music is any kids stuff. We have tons of baby songs/nursery rhymes on cds. We sing along and dance at least once a day.

As far as a future career? I think that it will involve pushing buttons and if she takes after anyone in the family, she will be in computing somehow. Daddy is an IT director, I do database stuff from home, Grandma is in IT and so are all of her great aunts and uncles.

She rolled over once at 3 months (back to front) but then she didn't do it again until 6.5 months, after she had started to sit up. We practiced sitting up on the bed from 5 months but she just started doing it on her own all of a sudden. She started cruising at 7.5 months and she started crawling right after that.

She rolls over and nurses. Then she gets a diaper change and I dress her for the day. Then breakfast and either a video or teletubbies while I get in a bit of work.

My mother spends alot of time with her. She watches her for us every Wednesday evening so we can have couples night. She got the first Bye Bye wave. Katherine loves her!

No, she still can't steer that silly thing yet. I came close to getting rugburn on my bum tonight. I was wearing shorts and sitting in the middle of the floor steering her around in a circle. What I do for that girl!

Nope! still no teeth. which is fine because I am a little leary of nursing and teeth.

Nope, she still wakes frequently but since we are co-sleeping, it isn't too bothersome. Except for the gassy nights when she wakes up crying a bunch of times. Those are rough!

She likes to sleep in like her mommy! She usually gets up on her own between 9 and 10. She actually slept till 11 one day last week.

She eats like a bird and the Dr is a tad bit concerned about her weight gain so I try to feed her 3 meals a day which are generally dismal failures, and then I spend the rest of the day shoving cheerios in her mouth.

Do you have a childhood all time fav cartoon that you are going to try to make her love also?or DH's?

Whenever you go out , what do you put on her, shoes and socks, sandles, just socks, or barefoot?

Are you going to have her ears peirced? or wait till she decides to do it on her own?
