woman preg. with 12 babies
boyohboyohboy wrote: I saw this last night also on tv and thought to myself, why is it that dr's are implanting so many eggs at one time, when these things can happen? I realize that they usually do plant a few more at a time because of the high failure rate, but isnt it just common sense to think that planting more then 4 is a risk?
SO now this woman is preg with 12 babies, and what are the chances they are going to live and if they do, then are they going to be ok and lead a good life? I agree that terminating the preg. is just as horrible an idea as having them. what a dilema. I cant help but feel so sorry for these babies that are going to have a very hard life if they live..and for what, does this woman really just want the fame that comes with a story like this?

bluebear replied: it's a money shot
luvbug00 replied: i bet michelle dugger wishes she could have gotten have of her kids in one shot like this ....sorry not funny. But anyway i just can't understand why you would publisize this? fame? for what? look at the gosslins. oh this just makes me feel bad for the kids..
MoonMama replied:
I don't even know what to say.
BAC'sMom replied: I’m not sure about these women wanting to have babies in litters. Oh well to each his/her own.
Celestrina replied: I feel so sorry for her - can you imagine trying to potty train 12 kids at once? There is no way she can get through this without severe problems. The human body wasn't meant to carry so many kids at one time. Heck, its bad enough if you do it one at a time.
ZandersMama replied: i dont think it was implanting embryos, it seems from the article they were stimulating the overies to produce more eggs.
i feel so bad for them (the children) and the parents
from the article: "The woman could have been receiving ovulation induction treatment, which stimulates egg production. You don't have the same control as with IVF," said Dr. Mark Hamilton, of the British Fertility Society.
youngmomofone replied: Yeah, but if the doctor knows that you are producing too many eggs they will (usually) cancel the cycle. I had many friends disappointed because of this...
Poor babies I hope they have a chance at a good life.
Nina J replied: Crazy.
I hope they are all healthy, but from what I have read, there is more of a chance of all of them dying than even one making it through.
bluebear replied: I'd like to know how far along she is to find out the sex?
amymom replied: Newest update ...
NOT TRUE
my2monkeyboys replied: I have to say I'm relieved to hear this...
ZandersMama replied: very good to hear i hope the woman gets some help
bluebear replied: wow.
