what do you think of this - crib bedding?
ediep wrote: I saw this in a baby furniture store last week and I fell in love with it. The curtains are pink and white toile and I think we are going to paint the room a pale pink, the carpet will be a neutral shade like tan.
The bedding is waaayyy more than I wanted to spend, but I haven't seen anything that I like anywhere else.
I would just get the 4 piece set....bumper, quilt, sheet and dust ruffle, and then I'd get the curtains. I wouldn't buy the diaper stacker or all those pillows

MyLuvBugs replied: WOW.....that's pink! Sorry. I'm not a pink person. But it is pretty.
3_call_me_mama replied: OHH I love it!!! I wish we had gotten Kathleen a girly girl set. (We used a hand me down set form someone) and i miss having the chance to have her room all fancy. (Cause i knwo when she gets older she won't want it! LOL) Beautiful choice
mckayleesmom replied: I love it.....although I would personally paint the walls a cream or beigh color instead of light pink....That would be alot of pink and it would drowned out the bedding...but that is JMO.
amynicole21 replied: LOVE it! Good choice. I agree with Brianne, though - I think I'd keep the walls either neutral (beige or cream) or maybe another color from the bedding.
Check Ebay for that set before you buy from the store - you might find it much cheaper.
jcc64 replied: I love that look- I chose something VERY similiar for Corey, and I too saw it first in a very expensive baby boutique. I kept my eyes open, though, and was able to find something very similiar in Baby Depot, which is in Burlington Coat Factory stores. You're from Jersey, aren't you? They're all over the place- and online. They have a nice selection of bedding- a cut above Babies RUS et al, but very reasonably priced. Sometimes you can even get matching accessories like lamps and wall decor. Check it out, you can get that look w/o breaking the bank, trust me.
coasterqueen replied: ITA. BTW, I LOVE the bedding.
My friend showed me her nursery the other day and the walls are all pink, the bedding is similar and accessories are all pink, it was WAY too much pink for that room. I agree on a neutral wall color. Now of course if her room is really big, that much pink wouldn't feel overpowering though.
3xsthefun replied: It is beautiful! I love it!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Gorgeous!!!! She will have a beautiful room and she will be able to use it for years.
I'm so glad I can sew.
Kaitlin'smom replied: LOVE IT
PrairieMom replied: I love it! I wish I would have found something like that when I was looking.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: It's beautiful! I love anything with toille! I have "boys" blue and yellow toille in Wesley's nursery. It's very classic IMO. Our walls are a soft yellow, almost butter color. I think a neutral tan would work great!
Brias3 replied: It's darling!
Boys r us replied: I love it!!!!!! Very beautiful!!!!!!!
As for the walls, maybe you could paint the top half a cream and the bottom a pink with either chair rail or a matching border to tie the two halves together!
mckayleesmom replied: I was looking at the bedding again and think that a Sage color would go really pretty too.
Bee_Kay replied: I love it!!
MommyToAshley replied: So pretty!
ashtonsmama replied: That is absolutely GORGEOUS Edie!
