I actually started to post an anecdote, but I decided you didn't want that in your exciting announcement. You would be calling me Debbie Downer (remember, from SNL a couple years back?).

DVFlyer replied: When I bought my first sportbike ('92 GSX-R 750), the guy at the bike shop told me 80% of the people crash/ drop their bikes within the first year. Here in San Diego, we are a big military town, so they see a lot of guys come in and buy the biggest baddest bike even though they've never ridden one, so perhaps that's why.
Good choice on bikes. Tell him to ride carefully. That's a serious bike for a first timer, but problems only occur when the rider doesn't respect it.
luvbug00 replied: yeah this bike has been ripped apart and rebuilt. Brad took a ride on it ( with the seller) and came back beet red! he's too scared to ride it with fury!
ashtonsmama replied: OH BOY! Watch out Nadia!
gr33n3y3z replied: I know what DV is talking about My brother is/was an avid dirt bike rider bought a Kawasaki Ninja 1100 first street bike ever and hmmm lets just say I got 300 gray hairs from him. Thank GOD he sold it after a few years of out running cops and what not and then bought another dirt bike lol.
kimberley replied: congrats! enjoy and be safe!
Ashlynn's Mommy replied: It's nice. Good luck with it.
