terms of endearment - does your kid do this?

Do your kids ever suddenly start calling you things your spouse calls you, like Honey or Sweetie or Tiger? Daniel will sometimes say "Honey?" when he's calling from another room. I guess DH and I do that alot! I think it's hilarious.

TANNER'S MOM replied: Yes my kids too..

My older kids will say BABE w/ they hand on there hip and eyes rolling..lol

But Tanner has said some funny stuff..

A&A'smommy replied: Alyssa calls me baby sometimes lol Jeremiah rarely calls me my name he calls me "baby" SO lol its quite funny!

K's called me honey or babe once or twice but she's usually copying her dad like "thanks for dinner honey". LOL

jdkjd replied: Bailey calls us "Joe" sometimes-Ryan will say "Let's Go, Joe" and she will reply "I not Joe"-so she's picked it up as a nickname.

3_call_me_mama replied: LOL!! Cameron calls dh "Hun" cause i'm always saying that. "Hun get me a glass of water, Hun come get teh baby , etc" adn when Cameron wants something he yells out "hey hun! " it cracks us up! Or he calls us by first name to get our attention.

amynicole21 replied: Sophia hasn't really done this to DH and me, but she does it with her sister. She'll say, "hi pookie mama!" which is what we call Sophia sometimes. It's very cute.

Jason will sometimes call us Edie and Scott , its pretty funny!
The other day I said Thanks to Jay for some reason and he said "you're welcome sweetie"

coasterqueen replied: Oh yeah, Kylie does this. She'll say honey, sweetheart, etc to us. Her latest is calling DH "daddy-o". We don't know where she got that one though but she keeps saying "daddy-o, you are my daddy-o".

Ashley will call us honey or sweetheart. I am not sure if she picked it up from us calling her that or each other? But, it's funny.

Jade hasn't called me anything other then mommy, but she will on occassion copy what DH does before he leaves for work. She will close the bedroom door and say Bye and wave and say too which is I love you too.
