sympathy pains - think they're real
J-rod wrote: ive always heard about these things...well now i guess i'm a believer. Steph has always complained about symptoms and saying "i wish you could feel" well gues what hunny...i can now. LOL
at the drop of a hat i can go from feeling fine to being achey and nascious (sp) then back to fine. and she says see now you can have an idea.
so has any of your SO's had/get sympathy pains..... or am i just crazy?
1lilpeanut2love replied: your not crazy!! That is so funny. Your own taste of what I ''feels'' like to be preggo. My SO packed on about 15-20 pounds during my pregancy. We ate good. I actually wish he would have kept it on. LOL
luvmykids replied: Mine never did but I know a few guys who genuinely swear they had the same symptoms you do. I think it's kinda cute, although probably not a lot of fun!
CAMSMOM1 replied: Well my DH had some weird food cravings when I was pg. And he would eat tons of ice cream with me! He actually gained more weight than I did when I was prg!
So I am a believer in sympathy pains too. I know a lot of my friend's DH's that did that. Some would have morning sickness, other's were really emotional. I think it's a great sign that you are truely connected to your spouse, and baby. And I'm sure she gets some gratification out of it too! She's not going through it alone! She suffers, you suffer!
Sounds like you're going to be a wonderful father.
J-rod replied: and also i get wierd food cravings. lol
like last night for dinner i had: peperoni roll, sour cream & onion chips, and choc. milk.
and now today i want grilled cheese, peanut butter and a bananna.
luvbug00 replied: go borrow tom cruses sonogram machine !! let see what your baking!!
C&K*s Mommie replied: HA! I could only wish my DH felt the things I did. Like the rollercoaster of emotions that he never (and still does not) understand with being PG. He never gained weight, and technically I did not gain much either. He never had cravings, and neither did I really, so we were both in the same boat really. I had easy PG's with both, and he just got the short end of the stick with me snapping at him or crying all the time.
1lilpeanut2love replied: those surely sound like pregnancy foods. I loved eating salty food and sugary food together. Sounds good though!! A good ice cream I loved was "Chubby Hubby'' OMG that was my fave ice cream during my pregnancy!!
MyLuvBugs replied: the only one my hubby had was weight gain. lol
My3LilMonkeys replied: My DH had pains that from his description were a lot like mild labor pains when I was 7 mo. along with Brooke. He was sick from work for 2 weeks and thought he was dying.
Mommy2Isabella replied: So I just asked Sal if he did ... he goes ... SOMETIMES! LOL, He had gained weight, maybe that is why the doc said I need to gain, maybe he gained it all for me! Well, anyways, he did get a little ILL when I had my bout with MS!
