Even sadder that it sounded as though he (the father) was being blamed for stopping to help in the first place.

Isn't that terrible? I feel so bad for that! I can't even imagine the pain of loosing a child. As Sally Field says in Steel Magnolias "I'm supposed to go first, I've always been ready to go first!"
