nursing center at amusement park - f/u to DH company party

In the middle of Knobles Grove Amusement park in Pa. they have a building just for nursing mothers. It was the most amazing thing, it was so clean, and kept up. Each room contained a small glider chair, ( it was top notch of a chair too!) It had changing tables, even diapers in case you ran out! It had a little kitchenette, a private bath, air conditioning, mood lighting! a play area for older kids with a tv, tons of toys that were CLEAN, and every woman that I met in that place was so impressed!
I stopped by the desk on my way out, because it was even guarded by security guards, to let them know how impressed I was with the place. I was told that when the park first opened it only had a stall in the bathroom, without a toliet for women to use to NIP, and then one day a woman come to the help desk to complain, she told the attending person that it was disguesting to BF in a restroom, turned out the attendant that day was the wife of the park owner, and her dgt in law was preg. at the time, and they worked out this nursing station.

I am going to write the amusement park and commend them on their station.

I was very impressed!

Just thought I would share, in case you are in Pa, this is the best place to take a family day! It was so enjoyable.

Do you live near Knoebels?

msoulz replied: Wow, that is amazing. I wonder if there are other such facilities that folks have seen? I have seen nothing of the sort, but then we haven't gone far since #2 came along and I'm sure I wouldn't have noticed before!

boyohboyohboy replied: I do live about 1 hour from Knobles. I forgot to take the camera, because I wasnt sure if I was going to be taking any pics. I knew that I was going to be the one pushing the stroller that my son wouldnt want to ride in, and making sure the older one was drinking water and going to the bathroom on a regular basis, while all the others rode rides!

we are planning another trip there in sept, and I will take the camera to get pics of the nursing center to show you!

Lynda836 replied: That's really awesome. Until I had my own and had to NIP I had never thought of the need for something like that. I was in a mall in Barrie ON not long ago, walked into the women's bathroom and low and behold a nursing room....glassed off from the reg bathroom, nice chairs, like a living room...it was great. I hope more places follow suit.
