just found out - pregnant

I had Cade when Kristen was 14mos. Don't worry it's not so bad. The good thing about it is that you are already used to the baby care stuff so it seems like it all comes naturally. It was harder to get used to it with Keegan for instance because the next child was 5 already and I felt like I was starting all over again. I even went out one day and forgot to bring any of his gear....I just wasn't used to it anymore.

Another very good thing is that when they are so close in age they are interested in the same things and will be quite good buddies.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: My first 2 are 16 months apart.... and now I'm pg with our 3rd, my daughter is 14 months and will be approximatley 21 months when this 3rd one is born....

Not too sure when we're due, we're still waiting to confirm with the doctor.

My oldest 2 are 19 months apart. I didn't really have any problems adjusting and they are pretty good friends-most of the time. Don't worry-You'll do great!

my boys are 18mos apart too. it is a big adjustment at first, but now i wouldn't change a thing. once i got their schedules in sync, it was easy. they always had a playmate which gave me time to wash dishes or cook and they are the best of friends (most of the time ). i agree having them 5 yrs apart (difference between my youngest son and daughter) was a lot harder to deal with. you will be just fine

mckayleesmom replied: It will be ok. McKaylee is 23 months and Russell is 2 months. I almost peed my pants when I found out. I didn't have much time to be scared about it because I was already 4 months when I found out. You will find that you will get into a whole new routine once the new one arrives. Plus your younger child is at the crious age where babies are interesting to them and they want to help. McKaylee loves to help...and your 5 year old will be a big help too. Try not to worry...everything works itself out.

My 2 oldest kids are 16 months apart. From personal experience, I woulnd't change a thing - they LOVE each other. Always do stuff together. My oldest will be 3 in August, and my middle child just turned 1 at the end of December.

I'm expecting my 3rd in October, and hopefully this one will have the same realtionship as the other 2 towards each other!!
