luvmykids replied: How exciting, love the sunroom and big backyard! GL!
grapfruit replied: I'm waiting for it to load, but I'm crossing my fingers and toes for you!!!
grapfruit replied: I LOVE the floors! Our 3 bedrooms have hardwoood, which is great but slippery! Tim complains that he feels like he's going to rip in half when he gets out of bed b/c he almost does the splits every morning. (Ok, I'm mean, but I'm cracking up as I write this w/visions of him slipping and the ACTUALLY thing he says, which is not suitable for a public forum )
I also love the fireplaces!! That is the one thing I wish our house had, but I couldn't even imagine where they'd go.
I'm recrossing all my fingers and toes for you!
lovemy2 replied: Very nice - love the sunroom and backyard but boy houses sure are expensive there
grapfruit replied: I was thinking that too. That house is easily $100K more then it would be here. PROBABLY more like $160K more then here.
Calimama replied: I was thinking how great of a price that was. Couldn't touch a house like that in my area.
grapfruit replied: No kidding! My friend and her boyfriend were renting a BEDROOM from some guy that owned a 1200 sq ft trailer in Chatsworth for $600/month (to put this in perspective, my first apartment was a nice sized 3 bedroom for $375). He said the trailer cost about $250K. I about fell over.
Here is what you can get for $259K
A&A'smommy replied: ITS cute!!!! I love it!!!!
Good luck, I have my fingers crossed for you!!
A&A'smommy replied: wow thats almost right at what a house like that would cost here
Our Lil' Family replied: Good Luck Rocky...that looks like a very well built home!!
I think the housing difference in the US is absurd! It really makes me mad. This is one of the houses that I'm looking at, for $259.... http://vaneatonromero.com/index.php?option...sFeatured,price
bawoodsmall replied: Now thats the kind of backyard I like. Its like ours..nice and big. We have an enclosed porch but not that kinda view. I like yours way better. We have a view of a big pine tree.
sparkys2boys replied: Oh good luck Rocky I hope they accept your bid!!!! Its a very cute house, love the back yard! I am sure your brood of kids..lol.. could put that to good use!!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Actually that's a really cheap price. A normal house like that in this area would be about 350K.
CantWait replied: It's a great house Rocky. Good Luck. When will you know?
luvbug00 replied: very nice! here that place would be in the mid 400,000 so congrats even finding a steal like that! GOOD LUCK!!!
3xsthefun replied: Nice house! Good luck!
grapfruit replied: Holy Crap!
Well then HECK YEAH!!!!
grapfruit replied: Ok, can I change my other Holy Crap to this one?!?
How the heck can people afford to buy a house?!? I mean here people are losing homes left and right. I can't imagine how ANYBODY could afford a $400K house!! That's insane!!
Are wages higher there Nadia?? I mean average person around here probably makes between $15-$20/hr. And actually most make a lot less then that. (around $10)
holley79 replied: Oh I like that. Good luck
Cece00 replied: How much is that in US dollars? That price is SO high compared to here, OMG. You could buy a very nice house, new or recently built here for that price. Its crazy how much prices differ everywhere.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: As of the rate today...
269,900.00 CAD = 266,818.26 USD Canada Dollars United States Dollars 1 CAD = 0.988582 USD 1 USD = 1.01155 CAD
Cece00 replied: WOW. So they are close.
I guess people probably are paid more up there than here, hence the crazy (to me) housing prices.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: our minimum wage is 8.10$
it's the nation's capital here, don't forget...
amynicole21 replied: Wow - very nice!!!! Good luck!!
