Kaitlin'smom wrote: that after all the work done to pick your childs name and even thinking I dont hear that name, after they are born you start meting people or hearing that name more and more? wink.gif I had not heard Kaitlin much at all just in a movie and I never knew any, now I know a few and am hearing the name more.....so much for tring to be original, I think our main difference is how we spell it

DansMom replied: Yeah, Daniel was in the top ten of most popular boy's names when he was born. The important thing is that you like the name. I always enjoy meeting other people named Tracy---it's like a bond. But my friend Lisa says there are way too many Lisa's in her generation.

coasterqueen replied: Totally. The only Kylie I knew when we were picking her name was the singer Kylie Minogue. Not that that's why we picked her name, but that was the only one we knew. Anyways after Kylie was born I've met many a dozen Kylie's young and old! rolleyes.gif

momof2girls replied:
I know I had not heard of Kiley, so that is why I picked it!
And look here another Kiley on the board! lol

Azaria I have not come across yet though....

MommyToAshley replied: Well, Ashley is a very popular name... but I just loved the name. I hope she will like it when she grows up too. biggrin.gif

5littleladies replied: When we picked Madeline's name we knew of no one who had the same name-except for the book character of course. Apparently everyone thought that at the exact same time because every time we go out these days we hear at least one other girl called Madeline or Maddie (also short for Madison I know). Dh is still upset about it but it doesn't bother me-It's her name, who cares if it's someone else's too. happy.gif

Mom2Boyz replied: So far I don't know any other boys named Conner. I knoe there are a bunch out there though.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: wub.gif I love Claudia's name and we hadn't really heard it all the much! It was my MIL that pointed out that one of Barkers Beauty's names was Claudia, then she became obsessed and everytime she heard the name she phoned to tell us. I don't think there will be many Claudia's in her class, but I am hearing it more and more now.

paradisemommy replied: well i think taven is pretty unique and don't think we'll run across another one!! though i will admit my mil ran into an older man with the same spelling and pronunciation when she went on a teacher's conference in north carolina..i was like ohmy.gif

Jamison'smama replied: I have only heard one little boy being called Jamison ---I do know that China Phillips and her Baldwin husband have a daughter Jamison.

A&A'smommy replied: Well in the 8 months since alyssa has born we have only come across one more Alyssa, and online we have only seen one alyssa and her mommys name was Jessica too weird lol happy.gif

Josie83 replied: I've never met another child called Cassie, I think maybe its a bit more popular in America but I don't know. Once we told someone her name was cassie and they said something like "no really, what's her real name?" They said Cassie was more like a name for a cat - I couldn't believe it! I've never met anyone called Josefina either (not even a Josephine!) - although I think there might be an actress called Josefina something, not very famous though! But my boyfriend's name is Jason and where we're from that's quite popular, in fact there's someone on here with a little boy called Jason! I'm sure now I've said this I'll bump into another little Cassie tomorrow or something! xx
