ever been compared to anyone - on tv or any character?

i've been told on more than one occasion that i am Bart Simpson come to life...since i don't watch the Simpsons i have no idea what that means but i'm guessing it can't be anything good.

Not really a celebrity or character but remember Samantha Runyun? (SP?) The little girl that was kidnapped and killed a few years back in California? We lived not far from the town she was kidnapped from years ago. When the news report came on my mom called me upset because she looked just like me as a kid.

i tend to be very outspoken which is what precipitates the comparisons, so i'm guessing he's rather outspoken too.
when i asked, i meant in terms of character, not looks, although all answers are always welcome.

luvmykids replied: Character wise, no. I get told all the time that I remind people of their college roommate, SIL, best friend from childhood, etc....As far as looks go I heard Bridget Fonda A LOT when we both had the Single White Female hair Now I get Martina McBride.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: No character comes to mind. But my grandma always says I look and act like Rachel from friends (Jennifer Anisten)...I don't see it. I had her haircut at one time, but that's about it. My DH thinks I look like the actress from Independence Day...I think she's the president in the movie, not sure. She is also in Battlestar Gallactica..older women. I think she's the chief or some high up position in that movie too. Someone from DH's work said the same thing (that I looked like her) without DH even telling her that he thought so too! Again, I don't see it. And my sister and BIL think I look like Dharma from Dharma & Greg...but with brown hair.

DillsMommy replied: I've never been told I act like someone, but people tell me all the time I look like Sandra Bullock, and people use to tell me I look like Mandy Moore, but I don't get that one very often anymore. I don't see either one, but I'll take it as a compliment.

As far as who I act like...my husband says they broke the mold with me, I'm so unique...so no one has ever told me I act like someone...

I have an inner Bridget Jones. I'm such a disaster and I'm constantly sticking my foot in my mouth or saying/doing all the wrong things. While I don't think I look like her, I have many of the same issues with appearance (messy hair, dressing wrong at certain occasions, spilling things or tearing clothes at the most inopportune times, etc) I just watch her show and cringe b/c it's all me!

I've been told by so many people that I remind them of Dharma (looks and character)

Crystalina replied: It is a running joke that I am just like Julia Louis Dreyfuss' character in The New Adventures Of Old Christine. I really didn't see it at first but I seem to get myself into some crazy spots at times. Especially in my daughters school. She's in a very good school and most of the parents are "a bit snooty" and I have to deal with them alot. I always worry I'm going to say the wrong thing around some of them and I've become the "room mother" even though I don't have the time because it seems like they are always bragging about how they do this or do that.

I did organize the Christmas party and I did a darn good job!
