boyohboyohboy replied: can i just say how terribly afraid of this c section i am. i keep asking myself what is it that bothers me so, i do feel kinda cheated out of the labor part. i mean you carry this baby, for me, in my own world, it just doesnt seem right to have him just "removed", but i know that many people have them and are fine.
i guess i am scared of how it will feel during it, and how weird it is to be cut wide open and be awake, and also how much pain there might be. i really dont mind labor pain, but this whole "unknown' has me terrified. I cant sleep, and i cant think of anything else.
i have googled it, researched it, and read everything i can, i talked to the dr yesterday, and asked her, it seems all routine. i am sure once its over, i will wonder what the fuss was about..
but for now it really has me off balance.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Wow he'll be here before you know it! thumb.gif I can't wait to meet him. wub.gif I can understand how you feel about the section Stacy, I've never had one but I've had the same thoughts as you when I've thought about the possibility of needing one. I wouldn't like to have the baby taken from me instead of going through labor either. But in the end you're going to have a beautiful, safe and healthy baby boy so it will all be worth it! wub.gif hug.gif hug.gif

A&A'smommy replied: yay!!!! hug.gif hug.gif You will be fine honey and I truly believe this is the best route for you and baby andrew!!! hug.gif hug.gif I understand how you feel though hug.gif

hoosier momma replied: Gook luck with the Csection and I hope it all goes very smoothly for you. You'll have Andrew in your arms before you know it. hug.gif

Mommy2Isabella replied: wub.gif Good Luck! I know how you feel with the C, I didn't have one but I am SCARED TO DEATH, especially with the twins and I don't know how I would fair!

Calimama replied: Good luck! You're going to do great!!!! hug.gif

jacobsmama replied: hug.gif hug.gif

Just remembr you are in safe hands. Your doctor is watching out for you and the baby so much, heck that is why you are going this route. The unknown is the worst fear, so you are not alone. I promise you that you will not feel any PAIN during the c-section, it will be uncomfortable tugging and pulling but nothing sharp or bad pain..I promise. In Labor and Delivery we do several c-sections a day and most of them are uneventful.

Andrew is going to come out just perfect and your family will be even more complete! smile.gif

boyohboyohboy replied: thank you for all your kind words.
i have spoken recently to some moms of babies that did have the shoulder dystocia, and have discussed some of the issues that they now have to deal with for life, so I know this is the best thing.
only one more day to get thru.

lovemy2 replied:
Really, honestly - I have had two - one was great - the other not so great but the alternative to the not so great one was down right horrible so in the end it was OK - it really isn't that bad especially a scheduled one.... hug.gif

HuskerMom replied: Good luck! You'll do fine! That's cool that you read alot about it, hopefully that will help you relax a little. Besides it'll be over before you know it. hug.gif

momtoMegan&Alyxandria replied: Tomorrow's the big day. Good luck and happy baby vibes. Can't wait to see pics. smile.gif

boyohboyohboy replied: only 12 more hours till we head to the hosp....

coasterqueen replied:

polyphoniesauvage replied: Oh, good luck!!! I'm sure the baby and yourself will be fine. I look forward to pictures! biggrin.gif wavey.gif
