after a lovely 6 hour stint in the ER...

Ended up in the ER after I passed out in walmart... all is fine, just really dehydrated. They gave me fluids and did an ultrasound just to make sure all was ok cause I landed pretty hard face-first into the floor... and the u/s tech said she was fairly certain we are having a girl!

I'm ecstatic, but very very tired so I am gonna go to bed... I'm on bedrest for a few days but I thought I'd post real quick and share the good news

Jackie012007 replied: thanks guys... yeah it was pretty wild. I had no idea what was going on... all of a sudden I was seeing big black spots, then this like buzzing in my ears andit sounded like I was underwater and couldn't hear like anything. DF was ordering fromt eh deli and looked over and said my face went white and he watched me hit the floor. I also threw up how embarrassing. The people at the ER were great though, they got me right in and they tried to take blood 4 times but couldn't get a vein, I guess it was then that they knew I was dehydrated? So they had me drinking like constantly and eating ice until they could get a vein, then gave me an IV... wow what a difference. I had been feeling icky lately and had some pukeys and that's probably what did it.

The best was the u/s though... they measured everything and it was a really long one (like 15 minutes of baby TV!) so it was cool... I don't really remember most of it but I remember seeing the butt pressed up against the screen and the tech was like "OOH I think I see girl parts!!"

Feeling much better today but still laying low and drinking like it's my job... we are keeping the appointment on the 22nd for confirmation ebcause the u/s tech in the ER wasn'ta specifically OBGYN one and she said to keep the appointment in case she was wrong... guess we'll see. Gosh I hope she was right!!!
