He's young yet - I don't think my kids really started to 'get' the idea of picking up until they were 18 months or so. Before that it was really hit or miss.

Don't feel bad- mine are 9, 7 and 4 and the "clean up after yourself" idea is still sometimes VERY FOGGY

I've been trying to teach Keith to pick up his toys too. I think he knows how to do it, he just chooses not to.
