Why is it ...

luvmykids wrote: That no matter how many batteries I have, they're never the size I need? Right now I need AA's and have about 30 AAA's, C's, and D's. But I know when I need a C all I'll have is AA's growl.gif

TheOaf66 replied: we always have a stock of every battery there is, I think it is a ploy by toy companies I mean really pick one size mad.gif

Seems every other day another toy's batteries are dying we have one of those huge zip lock bags full of different sizes of batteries

FYI, for AA batteries, Home Depot sells a pack of like 25 for 9 bucks pretty good deal

mckayleesmom replied: I don't know...seems like that always happens...BTW...You just reminded me that I need to take all the batteries out of everything... wacko.gif

AlexsPajamaMama replied: Happens here too!!
We stocked up on AAA because everything was needing that size and we only usually have AA.....now Im noticing Alex has quite a few new toys that take those little round watch batteries!!

C&K*s Mommie replied: user posted image

They have battery converters out (or they may have been out for long time) that converts AA's to C's and AAA's into AA's and so on.

Here is a link to one place that sells them:
Battery Converters

We do not own one, we are like you never have what you need when you need it. dry.gif

A&A'smommy replied: LOL I SOOOOO know what you mean!!!! its extrememly aggravating dry.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: AA is all we seem to need and use. So frsutrating when you need them, even more when DH takes them from remotes....or as he says "borrows" them mad.gif

BAC'sMom replied: mad.gif

AlexsPajamaMama replied:
That would be the last place my DH would ''borrow'' batteries from!!

My3LilMonkeys replied:
I am so guilty of this! I will borrow batteries from all of the remotes except for the living room TV. Then I will want to watch a movie and borrow the TV batteries for the DVD remote and DH will yell. tongue.gif

MyLuvBugs replied: At my house I have the right sizes, but they're always dead batteries. Why my husband can't through them way is beyond me. rolleyes.gif

CantWait replied: rolling_smile.gif teehee I know what you mean. Pain in the butt it is. Half the toys in this house don't have batteries in them anymore, waste of money. dry.gif

ashtonsmama replied: OMG. I thought it was just me.

mom21kid2dogs replied: It's a battery conspiracy tongue.gif Happens in my house, too!!

(OK, OK! What really happens is I run out of AAA so I buy a package every trip out for the next 5 trips to Walmart because I keep forgetting I got them. blush.gif . Then I run out of D's but I have 5 million AAA on hand!)

Ashlynn's Mommy replied: That always happens to me. sad.gif

holley79 replied: I needed D's the other day. All I had was Cs and AAs. I even went to three stores and they were all out of Ds. (Hurricane season coming up.) What do you need Cs for anyway??? Nothing in my house takes Cs. emlaugh.gif

TheOaf66 replied:
drive me nuts when Wifey takes them from my remotes

growl.gif

youngmomofone replied: It's frustrating when all you use is AA's then one day the one tv remote stops working and it takes AAA!

TheOaf66 replied: yes, there should be a limited supply of batteries

Car Battery
Watch Battery
Everything else batteries

laugh.gif

Brias3 replied: I run into the same problem....I try and keep a box of batteries handy in my junk closet but I still am usually only stocked on the more used type- AA's and AAA's. Of course, that's just when I find myself needing an off type rolleyes.gif

~~*Missi*~~ replied: when i had sabrina i learned why they invented recharables LOL.... we have aa aaa c d chargers.

Its crazy when she was tiny baby most everything took c and d now its aa aaa!
