Why can't I get a break - Vent!!!!!!!!!! My horrible ni

CantWait wrote: Last night was the worst night I've had in awhile. Anthony was doing so good at going to bed around 9pm. Well last night he was up from 6:30pm till 12:30pm, very content I might add. He lay on his blankie and kicked around for a bit, we played with some toys, then he ate, but that didn't put him to sleep. Instead he decided he wanted to sit on mommy's lap and watch t.v for 2 hours. Then at 11:30 Robbie came downstairs and said that he had a tummy ache. So in the midst of trying to get him something for the pain, he decided to throw up, so it's upstairs I go to put the baby down so that I could be with my other ds. I gave him some gravol after he was done, but that just came back up 5 minutes later. Finally around midnight I fed baby one last time, and put him in his bassinett to let him fuss about so that I could be with ds. Thankfully around 12:30 he fell asleep. Unfortunetly I was up till about 3:30 in the morning with ds..in the 4 hours he was up he puke.gif about 6 times. Nothing seemed to help his tummy. He's home from school today since he didn't get much sleep. Although he is feeling better. baby.gif slept 6 hours last night, the first time and I didn't get to enjoy it. 2 and a half months till dh gets home. It seems to long and I'm starting to lose it. bawling.gif

amynicole21 replied: You are an amazing woman... I couldn't do it. I can hardly take care of one little girl with the full time help of DH. I'm so sorry Robbie is sick... Poor guy!! I hope he's feeling better soon!

mckayleesmom replied: I hope your son feels better...big hugs too you.....There is a military site I go to cause my husbands in the army, but there are links for the navy, marines, etc...too. The website is www.armywives.com/phpBB2 You can go there if you want and register,,,there are tons of women that are going throught the same thing as you with your husband being deployed and all. It might help to talk to other ladies going throught the same thing as you. just don't mention Parenting club,,cause my crazy friend goes to that site too..lol.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: grouphug.gif Hoping your DS feels better today and that everyone goes to bed nice and early for mommy tonight! Hang in there your DH will be home before you know it! grouphug.gif

MommyToAshley replied: Oh my, BIG HUGS to you! Poor Robbie, I hope he is feeling better!

I don't know how you military wives do it!! I was an army brat and I never realized what my Mom went through until I had a DD myself. I really admire her (and you) now.

Hopefully everyone will go to sleep at a decent hour tonight so you can get some rest too!

DansMom replied:
It's so hard to do it alone---and even if you can get help during the day, those nighttime illnesses come out of the blue and you're the only one. Mckaylee's mom's website suggestion sounds like a good idea---it might seem less lonely if you could hear from other moms who are on their own right now. I met a 7 months pregnant woman in line at the grocery store, and we got talking. This is her first baby and she doesn't think her husband will be home from Iraq in time for the birth. They conceived two weeks after their wedding and he's been gone ever since. It took three weeks for the ultrasound pictures to reach him. I can't imagine it---hugs to all the military wives out there. grouphug.gif

I hope Robbie gets well fast!

mckayleesmom replied: A lady on our site just had her baby on sunday and they got ahold of her husband in Iraq just as the baby was crowning. So he got to hear the babies first cry.....Breaks my heart knowing he couldn't be there to see the baby born, but reminds me of how lucky I am that dh got to be there for the birth and every single doctors appointment I had.

CantWait replied: thanx again for the site thumb.gif and I won't mention Parenting Club. happy.gif

MomofTay&Sam replied: sad.gif I cant imagine what you are going thru. I am sending lots of hugs and prayers your way. I hope oldest DS gets well quickly and DH gets home to you guys soon.

kit_kats_mom replied: If you are anything like me, even existing on less sleep than normal is hard. Add taking care of a baby and then some on top of it and....well, I feel for you. I really hope things clear up for you soon and you are able to take some mommy time soon.

mummy2girls replied: HUGS..i know what you are going through to do it alone! I am a single mom so im raising jenna all by my self. so when jenna is sick all night i still have to get up for work. I hope he feels better and gets well...

CantWait replied: thanx everyone wub.gif

MommyToAshley replied: How do you feel now? Did you get any rest? Is Robbie feeling any better?

CantWait replied:
HA!!!! It sorta just got worse. Robbie started feeling better on Friday, however in the afternoon he started to feel sick again. By Saturday he was good to go. He went outside and played with his friends at the park. However by that afternoon, my stomach was turning and by later that evening I had the yukky "D" word and I was puke.gif puke.gif puke.gif like crazy. Guess we had the stomach flu. I'm feeling a bit better today, but last night was rough. Thanks for asking. wub.gif

CantWait replied: opps, I should also say that while I was throwing up and such last night, Anthony again slept 6 hours straight. Why can't I be so lucky when no one is sick LOL rolling_smile.gif

A&A'smommy replied: wow im so sorry!!!! grouphug.gif grouphug.gif grouphug.gif grouphug.gif i hope you have a better day tomorrow and i wish i could give you a real hug!!!!!!!!!!

supermom replied: Oh, hun!! I feel so sorry for you.....BTDT with the first one, but never had to do it with more than one until they were a bit older..... grouphug.gif to you and hopefully Anthony will be sleeping thru the night like a champ before you know it and then you'll get to enjoy it a bit!! Hope you are all feeling better and hope baby doesn't get whatever you two had!

CantWait replied: another UPDATE: Robbie is home from school today AGAIN!!!!!! He hasn't puked, so if he doesn't today, I'm sending him packing tomorrow.

Heather replied: Poor Robbie. Poor Mommy! I hope you guys are feeling better soon. I admire you as well. It killed me when Jason went to Japan for a year. I can only imagine how it would be with children! Hang in there! You are so strong for even making it this far!! (BIG HUGS)
