Where is the voodoo doll when you need it?

Then I told him I was going to go get the strep test done to see if what I have is strep. I also called him last night so he knew it might be strep and to see if he still wanted me in, which he did of course. So I get back from getting the strep test done and I feel like I want to curl up into a ball and just die. I can't believe I have 3 hours before I can go home and then sadly enough I'm counting down the hours til the girls go to bed so I can go to sleep. Anyways, my boss came up to me a few minutes ago saying he now thinks he has a chill and so he may not be able to make it the rest of the day here at work. WTF?????????????????????

Kaitlin'smom replied: Oh man thats so not fair! my boss did that to me once and never again since I just sat at work and got worse and worse and ended up gone almost a week. I told him it woudl have been better for me to take a day or 2 get rest than miss that much work. He agreed and I have hardly been sick since go figure. However he kow if I call in I must be sick. I hope you can get lots of rest.

coasterqueen replied: Thanks everyone. You are all so sweet. I can't wait for this week to be over. Believe me I gave my co-worker a few choice words for taking this week off. To be fair though, she got this vacation free from her husband's work so I really can't blame her taking it, but believe me I plan to pay her back. Megan's birthday is during session and believe me I WILL be taking that day off and maybe the day after. That week is a VERY bad week too.

Aimee - yeah, 3 motrin are the ONLY thing keeping me upright. Oddly enough moving around, like working out actually makes me feel better. It's when I'm sitting at a desk all day or not being very mobile that makes me feel like crap right now.

Freckled Momma replied: oh you poor thing ...that boss of yours sucks. You are a mighty good person for working thru this sickness, specially if it is strep. I got a positive culture for it yesterday and feel crappy. But I'm also a SAHM. Still hard but at least I don't have to do anything until someone wants something Nor get dressed...lol
