What kind of razor do you use?
DillsMommy wrote: I'll admit, I use a mans razor. Dh bought the Gillette Fusion and insisted I try it. OMG, I LOVE it....it is wonderful! It has 5 blades!! I can shave my legs in about 2.5 minutes. Anyways, I had a coupon for venus disposables (sp?) so I bought them and they are nothing like I remember. I've used Venus before and loved it, but these felt like they were tearing up my legs. I must be spoiled by my Fusion. I highley recommend it, if you don't mind using a mens razor. I don't, as long as I have some fruity-girly shave gel to use. lol. Just thought I would shave, the blades are kind of expensive, but VERY worth it!
luvmykids replied: I tried that too, I like it a lot! I also swear by Aveeno's Oatmeal Shaving Cream.
Crystalina replied: Yep, I use DH's Gillette as well.
Our Lil' Family replied: I use the Venus.
Militarymom22 replied: i love my hubby's mach 3 razor, girly ones just don't seem to do the trick anymore!! especially with pregnancy hairy legs
mom21kid2dogs replied: I like the Intuition razor. Expensive blades. I did get a fusion in the mail and I liked the size better but the blades costs way more than the Intuition so I passed!
redplaydoh replied: Who has time to shave? Soon I'll have to learn to braid again!
Danalana replied: I use Venus, but I might try that one, Mandy. Thanks for sharing
DillsMommy replied:
OOps...just re-read my post. Meant to say "just thought I would share"...not shave... lol.
Danalana replied: I knew what you meant, but I thought it was pretty funny to say it that way
gr33n3y3z replied: I use the Aveeno's Oatmeal Shaving Cream and I use the gillette sensor womens shaver
redchief replied: <--- Grumbling, They lobby the manufacturers to make "feminine" razors. The manufacturers do so that there are more for the gals than there are for the guys. What do they do? Continue to steal our razors anyway. It ain't right, I tell ya!
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Yep, I use DH's too! I think it's the Gillette Sensor or something or another!
lesliesmom replied: DH has the Fusion. I use it occasionally. I used to use the Intuition, I liked the built-around shave stuff - less stuff in the shower but I got cheap. I just got the bic Soleil. I really like that one, not sure how much replacement blades are for that. Generally, I just sign up for all the free razor freebies I can get and use those. Then, when I'm out, I too, steal DHs. (which he only uses once a week because he generally uses his electric razor). If I'm completely desperate, I use the electric.
C&K*s Mommie replied:
I use my dh's Fusion too. I just have to remember to change to blade head back to what was on it before, so he will not know I used it.
I also like the Veet razorless. I can do other things while I am waiting those 3-5min for it to work.
Calimama replied: That's what I use!
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: currently I am using the Venus vibrate one. don't remember what It's called....I love the intuition but it's expensive if the other is even more I'm thinking it's way out of my price range
luvmykids replied: I wish I could use that, I bought it and all that happened was I broke out in red splotches and bumps and it didn't remove a bit of hair My mom uses it and has the smoothest legs ever. I don't know why it doesn't work for me.
A&A'smommy replied: Venus the one that vibrates and i LOVE it!!!
Insanemomof3 replied: I use the schick quattro. I liked the 4 blades, now that I know there is a better one out there I am thinking I may switch! Thanks for sharing!!!
Boo&BugsMom replied: I use whatever Troy brings home from the store or whatever he has laying around. I prefer men's razors too. They are just sharper for some reason.
holley79 replied: I use the Gillete Venus throw aways. Shawn keeps his razors hidden from me.
TheOaf66 replied: took me awhile to figure out why my razors were getting dull so fast
msoulz replied: I use a men's Quattro. I tried the Venus but it totally ripped up my legs. I think women's razors are made more cheaply but we buy them because they are pretty. Marketing is a wonderful thing . . .
Hillbilly Housewife replied: I have no idea what they are - but they're the big bag of blue mens razors at Costco, for 13$ for like 50 of them
And I don't use shaving cream of any kind, I prefer shaving just with warm water, or even dry. And no, I don't get all bumpy and irritated. Sometimes I will put Vaseline Intensive care lotion on afterwards if my legs will be exposed.
grapfruit replied: No fair. I break out and itch if I LOOK at a razor too long. I find that I do much better if I use conditioner (like for your hair) for "shaving cream". Doesn't irritate as much. I have some throw away Bics right now, but I like the men's razors better too, they last longer and do a better job.
moped replied: OH I could NEVER dry shave or shave without cream or something -
