What kind of Make up does everyone where??
TANNER'S MOM wrote: Well I used to love Clinque..but recently I have started using MARY KAY..and I love it??
Wal- Mart stuff if I have emergency?
Does any body have any great tips? My number one tip is for the smokey eye look, I take a dark gray almost black eye shadow, and wet the applicator tip, and apply instead of eyeliner..and I love that look. And it's easier to get off!
Ok I meant WEAR...and i can't edit that part.....lol
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Arbonne. No animal bi-products. Plus, it feels so natural and looks great. I really love it. I'm not good at applying eyeshadow, though.
mammag replied: Oh whatever I come across at the time I run out. I've never really noticed a difference. I bought Mary Kay once and was really mad that I had spent the money because I wasn't happy with it at all.
My tip.... I don't like the heavy foundation look so I mix a little foundation with my lotion and apply it that way so it doesn't look cakey.
Kaitlin'smom replied: I am an Avon girl, I love the products and the fact I can shop online (for the things I know I love) is great
infact I need to see what I need I know I am low on a few things
Boys r us replied: I wear Clinique, super duty foundation and most all of the other makeup I have(lipstick, eyeshadow ect..) is also clinique.
My fave thing to do with my lips is line them in a wine color and then apply lipgloss over my lips instead of lipstick! I get TONS of compliments when I do this!
akbutterfly83 replied: I wear Clinique for my foundation, because I break out with anything else from the stores that I have tryed... gunna try Avon, that's what grandma uses.... LOL.... but other then that, for the rest of my make-up, wal-mart.....
But that's only if I'm going out somewhere special.... I don't normally wear make-up.... dh doesn't like it... he says I don't need it.... and it takes too much time putting it on anyway... LOL....
booey2 replied: Make-up?? I only wear masquera, and eyeliner and maybe lipstick if we are going out. Day to day I am an au naturel kinda girl.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: CoverGirl powder compact. I used to wear foundation but it looks terrible on me, and tinted lotions make my face too greasy, and I can't wear mascara anymore because it makes my eyes itchy. It's too bad too because I have blond eyelashes so I really could use some color there... but no one sells anything lighter than plain brown anyways and that's still too dark for my tastes so I guess it's not horrible that I can't wear it. I've never worn eyeshadow and I definitely don't need blush! Oh and on my lips I wear cherry chapstick.
mom89 replied: nothing here. I've never been able to find the right colors,so i gave up. I just don't feel like standing there for hours on end trying to find the right stuff that would look good on me.
paradisemommy replied: on the rare occasion that i actually go out, i have MAC cosmetics (left over from my wedding almost 3 years ago) and they are pretty awesome. otherwise..NADA..only eyeliner and that is MAC too
My2Beauties replied: I wear mostly Revlon Colorstay make-up, I wear their color tint foundation which is so great because it's so sheer you can see all my freckles through it and it just covers blemishes, I wear Cover Girl blush though, in a rosy color, I usually go smoky with my eyes, a bit of white and blach eyeshadow mixed together with a sheer nude or pinkish lipstick, colorstay lipstick that is!
amynicole21 replied: MAC for everyday, though I do have some Clinique shadows that I use regularly.
gr33n3y3z replied: None I hate make up
MomofJandB replied: I wear a mix of brands...the ones you can get from Walmart or CVS...like Revlon, Almay, Maybelline,etc.. I can't seem to find a foundation I like so I use the powder foundation that covers imperfections.
I have issues in finding colors right for me. I usually end up too pink! I want to go to Sephora for a make over and let them pick my colors!
Anyone use a moisturizer for their face that they recommend? I need something oil free. The ones I keep buying feel heavy on my skin and seem to leave a filmy surface. I want something that'll go on and feel like it's not even there. Does that make sense?
5littleladies replied: I don't wear any. It's too much of a hassle for just around the house and Dh likes me natural so I don't bother when we go out. I'm lucky if I manage to find chapstick on my way out the door.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I've tried lots and lots of moisturizers for my face trying to find something that doesn't make my face oily and feel heavy - I have combination skin so I needed something that would moisturize well but keep my T-zone from getting really oily. Right now I'm using St. Ives Collagen Elastin Moisturizer from Walmart or Target. It's cheap, but I love it. It's not oily at all and it seems to do a good job moisturizing too. At night I use a more creamy face lotion to make sure my face doesn't get dry, but lately I've been skipping it since I'm so tired and the St. Ives stuff in the morning still does the trick.
coasterqueen replied: I wear Revlon one-step compact makeup daily. I also wear eyeliner which is probably just a walmart brand as well as mascara being the same. I do wear blush sometimes which is Clinique and only because I go that as a gift almost 8 years ago at my bridal shower. I wear a LOT LESS make-up now than I did back then. Just like the nice natural look a bit more. I don't wear lipstick because it annoys me.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I don't wear make-up very often, but when I do it's Mary Kay. In fact I have all sorts of Mary Kay products. They have just been the best with my skin.
texasp3 replied: EVERYTHING that goes on my face is from Arbonne EXCEPT my foundation. I like the foundation.. I just haven't gotten the right color yet. Actually - their skin care products have made my skin so nice, I wear much less makeup now. The one thing I swear by is Arbonne's corrective cream for those under eye circles... don't ask me how they do it... I've been trying to hide those dark circles for more than 20 years and this is the first product that does it without making me look like I'm wearing stage makeup!
So the one non-Arbonne thing on my face is L'Oreal's Cashmere Perfect foundation. I like it a lot too.
Allyson&Patrick'sMom replied: Estee Lauder, most of the time, my neighbor next to me works for the company at the NEX on base and I get a TON of it in my colors for nothing when the store Display full size samples come out.
If I don't I am a Cover Girl!
ammommy replied: Either Lancome or Bobbi Brown. I just started switching over to BB because it's so much cheaper than Lancome (surprisingly). I try to buy at gift time, so that I don't have to buy lipstick or eyeshadow since they are usually included.
jcc64 replied: Nothing at all, except for weddings, funerals, etc., and even then it's only mascara, bronzer powder, and lip gloss. Like Prescriptives.
MomToMany replied: Nothing here. I don't even know what colors I should wear. I have some, but I only wear it maybe once a year. I don't even know how to put mascara on! Or eyeliner! I'm pitiful!
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Lol no Mollie you're not pitiful! I don't know how to put eyeliner on either... or eyeshadow. And I'd have no clue what colors would look good on me if I tried. All I wore at my wedding was tinted moisturizer, mascara and lip gloss.
Josie83 replied: I am rubbish when it comes to makeup. All I ever wear is Rimmel eyeliner, mascara and a powder by Boots. I am pathetic, I don't know how to put it on lol! xx
JessC replied: I wear alot of Clinique, Cover girl, and JANE.
aspenblue1 replied: Avon.
A&A'smommy replied: Mollie you are beautiful you don't really need make up so NO your not pittiful!
A&A'smommy replied: I wear mary-kay and I love it I have learned LOTS of tricks going to meetings but I quit going
