CAMSMOM1 replied: Hello! I work P/T as a Supervisor at an after school program for children grades K-6th. I have 60 students enrolled, and 5 staff working under me. Our program is on site at a local Elementary school. It's a great program, before and after school, and since it's on site at the Elementary school, convienant for the parents/students. I looooove my job working with kids! I've been doing it for 5 years now, and I like supervising. I still get to interact with the children, but get paid enough so I don't have to get a 2nd job. I also get all the holidays off the children/school's do, so I'm off for 2 weeks for Christmas break. I have every holiday off, paid, that's a huge bonus! When I'm not working (in the mornings) I stay at home with my son. Best of both worlds! My husband is working for a national automotive repair shop. He's been the manager there for 3 years. He works a lot of hours, but I get my car worked on for free! Which has been good, because my last car was a lemon! Thank God he bought me a new car! I eventually want to finish school. I am almost done with my Child Development degree. I'm just not sure what I want to do with it. So that's me!

Boys r us replied: Well, for the last almost 8 years, I've been a financial advisor at a large Bank. On Friday, I began training for a new department within the same bank, where I will be making decisions regarding people's accounts behind the scenes, never dealing directly with the customer..which is a GOD SEND!
I also have my Real Estate License, which I basically only use for our own personal gain b/c my DH and I buy and sell investment houses on the side and instead of paying out 6% to a stranger, that money stays in our pockets with me acting as the agent for us.
My DH is a smart cookie and is microsoft and Cisco Systems certified(well he's lacking I think one of the cisco certs..which he will probably never have b/c there are only like 4,000 people with this certification) and he runs the IT department at General Electric (G.E.).
and like I mentioned, we do investment houses on the side.

My3LilMonkeys replied: DH works in a paperback book plant. The work he does varies week to week as he is trained to do several different jobs. BIG perk for me though is that we get free damaged/misprint (most of which are just little things like pages are crooked by a cm or the cover is bent ) books before they even reach the stores!
I work for a husband and wife who own 3 businesses. Unfortunately this does not mean I get 3 paychecks!
The 1st is an office building, 3 rental properties and several timeshare/vacation homes that I do A/P, A/R and tenant relations for.
They also own a small personalized calendar business that I do a lot of data entry work for, mainly in the 4th quarter.
