What did you buy for your little one? - For Christmas......

chloe&tysmommy wrote: I thought it would be interesting to see what we all bought for our kids for Christmas........

We got Chloe: the Barney Christmas movie (she loves him)
slippers (stocking stuffers)

Barney Laptop (looks so neat with numbers and shapes)
An Alice in Wonderland Tea Set (looks adorable)
A Care bear
A big Barbie playhouse
( They have one at the pool and she played in it for about an hour, plus she loves hiding so we thought she'd love this)

She's the only one (so far) so we thought we'd spoil her this Christmas--she really doesn't have a lot of toys so she deserves it smile.gif

aspenblue1 replied: I bought Isabella a wagon that has a top that turns into a picnic table. hokey pokey elmo. 2 pairs of shoes and clothes plus stocking stuffer stuff.. but I am not done with my christmas shopping yet.

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I got Jade:

A zip bag of Mega Blocks. They are just like legos, but bigger. She's going to love those because she likes to stack and build.

The Little People Zoo Animal Train.

A bathtub set that has a Rubber Ducky, a little net thing to store all of her bath toys, and a soft duck that goes over the faucet.

Two very cute outfits that I had to buy. She needs clothes.

I am also trying to get her Cats & Dogs the movie. Everytime this movie is on she watches it. She even gets mad when the comercials come on.

And I'm trying to talk her Daddy in getting her the little people farm. I really think she would like that.

ediep replied: Jason got

the Barney lap top,
Playskool cel phone
a blankie with little satin tags all around it
A little backpack with activities in it
toy keys with a clicker that makes noises
"Caution Kid Zone" sign for our new playrom that is being built

thats it so far

I still would like to get him some clothes

Kaitlin'smom replied: oh wow let me think....

ps and daddy said he wanted to buy her something or things not sure wich yet....

DansMom replied: I got Daniel a Discovery toy that is a color/shape sorter, and it has gears on the front that you can turn; I also got stacking dump trucks that can link together and that run on their own momentum across the floor. DH got him a Xylophone that is a real instrument (it has all of the sharps and flats and at least two octaves), but is kid-proof, and a dump truck that you can operate electronically. He also bought Daniel a wall-clock for his bedroom. Stocking stuffers are still in the works. I've asked relatives for books and educational toys.

jem0622 replied: I will need to go home and check b/c we bought most of his stuff a while ago. Kept it minimal though b/c we really don't want for the boys to think Christmas is all about presents. Plus they will get gifts from Aunts/Uncles/Grandparents so they will be well cared for. Plus my son will be 4 a month from tomorrow and he'll get MORE stuff. LOL.

I know DH got Gabe some discovery blocks. Never looked at the package to see what they are. And I think we got him some cars b/c his brother hates sharing them. wacko.gif

mckayleesmom replied: I know...but we planned to spoil the you know what out of her this xmas because she really doesn';t have much. But now we have to pay around 350 to get the truck fixed.

3xsthefun replied: We got Kaitlynn

The Lion King Movie Special Edition

couple puzzles

2 my little ponies

a barbie riding a pony

and a scobby doo game

We still need to do some more shopping. We are not done yet. We'll get her a few more things.

I still want to get her some clothes and a carebear. And maybe something else. Don't know yet. She already has so much its hard to think of what to get her. I think I need to give away some of it. Her room is such a mess mad.gif

And Maegan might be getting the 1,2,3 Tigger and Me. That is if we can find it. I know she really doesn't know what is going on. But I feel we need to get her something. We'll probably let Kaitlynn unwrap it for her.

MommyToAshley replied: I think Santa needs to take back some stuff she has now. LOL rolling_smile.gif Seriously, I am going to donate a bunch as soon as I get a chance to pack it up.

Let's see, we got her:

--- Wiggle's guitar (She went shopping with us at ToysRUs and sat in the cart and played with it the entire time, she loves Wag The Dog)
--- Little People Farm
--- Little People Bus
--- Wooden puzzles and puzzle rack
--- LeapFrog Shopping Cart
--- Wagon full of mega blocks
--- Zipper bag full of extra mega blocks
--- Lawnmower push toy that blows bubbles
--- Carebears Motorized ATV (It's for 1-1/2 to 4 years of age so she probably won't ride it until this spring)
--- Set of blocks, I forget what they are called but each one does a different thing.
--- And clothes from Mom and Dad.
--- For her stocking, several books, a set of flash cards, and a little teddy bear. I will probably put a box of Gerber veggie crackers in her stocking, she loves those. smile.gif And, I don't want to give her candy just yet.

I wanted to get her the Little People house too but every place is sold out of them. And, I don't think she needs anything else. I also considered getting her the Little Touch LeapPad but I decided to wait (see other post)

kimberley replied: blush.gif we haven't bought her anything really. i just bought her a whole bunch of new clothes and am filling a little stocking for her, but i really don't know what to get her that wouldn't just collect dust. she has a million toys from the boys and doesn't really need anything else.

the boys on the other hand are getting a 10-in-1 table game with air hockey, fooz ball, ping pong etc, a bunch of little toys, some coloring stuff, 3D snakes and ladders game, new leap pad books, chocolates and probably some new cool jamas.

Jamison'smama replied:
We thought the same thing Jamison's first Christmas so my DH bought her a charm bracelet and is adding a charm each holiday or special occasion---just an idea. I wanted her to have something just from him. I get her a silver engraved picture frame each birthday to display a pic of that day. Just some suggestions although I 'm not sure you were asking for them smile.gif

kimberley replied:

I was actually! thumb.gif lol I guess I forgot to say so. the charm bracelet is a wonderful idea! thanks for being psychic and giving me some ideas lol rolling_smile.gif

Jamison'smama replied: This is my absolute favorite place to find charms. If you are interested, request a catalog---Their silver charms are beautiful and very reasonable.

CantWait replied: Robbie got a couple movies (from Santa), cds, a cd player (for really cheap at that), a game boy advance sp (from dad), a tobaggan, socks, underwear and a pair of pj's and a bunch of small things from Santa for his stocking.

Anthony will be getting a excersaucer from us, and hopefully a couple small toys from Santa.

I'll try and attach a pic of the saucer, I love it, it's the coolest looking thing.

MomToMany replied: blush.gif Still haven't done any shopping yet here. But we're going to get her (and Ethan) a kitchen pay set, since they can't leave my pots and pans alone. And they are always getting all my spatulas and stuff out, too.

Not sure what else yet.

Kaitlin'smom replied:
LOL, Kaitlin loves that guitar, she payed with it all though Target, her great grandma is giving it to her, we were shopping for her for Kaitlin since she cant get out for long periods of time.

Good idea Kaitlin also loves those crackers thanks to Ashley! LOL

coasterqueen replied: Well, let's see here without looking in the spare room to see what we got her, I'll try to guess, lol.
