What are your kids going to be for Halloween?

Braedin will be a Lightening McQueen race car driver. Because that's what he picked and HAD to have, I'd had it since the beginning of Sept. He's still all about it, and since we have been talking about it (Halloween and dressing up) a lot he's now telling everyone who will listen "I's Ligh-ning".


I'm not sure he will actually go trick-or-treating this year though, he's terrified of any kind of spooky Halloween decoration. He covers his eyes and if you don't move him fast enough he then cries too.

I am trying to convince the boys to recycle some of the old custumes here but they are not going for it..lol. But yet they still are not sure what they want to be I tried the... when I was your age talk and Logan rolled his eyes and said do we HAVEEEEE to go there mom

I can't wait to see Brae in his little costume either. Have I mentioned lately how flippin adorable he is? And that is too funny about the Halloween decorations, I can only imagine the look on his face.

Avery is such a cutie pie, I LOVED her punk rock girl last year. I have pictures of Braedin somewhere around here in that same chicken costume.

Oh my goodness....my DH would be so proud!! He is still asking for the BIG Optimus Prime transformer, but I just can't bring myself to spend the $60.00.

Is it the deluxe one from Transformers Animated? I've seen that one online going for around $30. We opted for the cheap one at CVS for $15.

Thanks Ally. We actually caught a little flack from some people for dressing her that way, but oh well. It's not like we tattooed her up and pierced her tongue or anything.

Hmmm....I'm really not sure. If I had to guess though, I think it's from the original show. All I know is the thing is huge and he will not shut up about it. He also wants the dang Darth Vader helmet with the voice changer.....he is such a dork!!

They had some really cheap Ariel costumes at walmart ($9.99). I looked at them for Ashley but decided that wasn't a good kings island costume either. There's a clearance rack that has stuff 50% off on the food side (not the merchandise side).

why is it that girls costumes are all so sexy / revealing? Good grief, we might have snow here then, I can't send her trick or treating in that kind of stuff!

What size is she, Di? Maddie has a really nice Disney Ariel costume that was worn once. It's a size 7/8, though.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Wil...Batman. Costume was bought on the 1st and he puts it on at least once, sometimes twice, a day! Every night when it gets dark, he shouts "Halloween time!"

Wes...Either a lion or Winnie the Pooh, he could truly care less.

DH and I are going to an "adult" party. He will be Vincent Vangogh with his ear all bloody. I am going as Lisa "left eye" Lopes. Don't ask why....
