Ashlynn's Mommy replied:
OMG!! You just reminded me of something. I am in Reatil too, and the biggest Pet Peeve I have had is when the customer puts their basket on the counter, and does'nt take their stuff out of it growl.gif growl.gif

jaytrevjax replied: I work in retail also, and I agree, there is nothing more annoying than trying to talk to someone on a cell phone in your line!

the toilet seat thing for sure, I am the only female in my house, and not one of my boys (DH and 2 sons) know how to put it down! But the worst is a night, when your sleepy anyway, and it's dark, and you go to sit down, and fall in! That happened a couple of times!

My biggest one is when you are following someone down the road (especially on the freeway) and they leave thier blinker on after they change lanes! growl.gif growl.gif growl.gif

Amelia's Mom replied: I would rather get toilet seat left up than get one left down and wet. sad.gif

cheap toilet paper!

Drivers insisting on driving slow in the passing lane and blocking traffic. growl.gif

Kids yelling loudly at parents in store. tongue.gif

mammag replied: Oh I have a lot of pet peeves!!!

People who ride in a car with their feet up on the dash or in the window.....I hate feet and I don't want to see someones decrepit toes thank you very much.

People who yell all nasty at their kids at the store.....not discipline but full on yelling and humiliating them in public.

This one doesn't make me angry but grammatical errors annoy me...more when it's in a book or some kind of formal writing.....I will sit and think about that mistake and find it hard to concentrate on what I'm reading. That's a weird one, I know, especially since I'm sure I make tons of errors myself.....can't explain it really.

People who are late all the time....not just here and there, but every darn time you cook dinner for them they are an hour late so you end up planning the dinner to be ready an hour later than you told them and then they should up an hour and a half late.

People who don't bother to turn their head before merging into traffic and just assume everyone is watching and will let them in.....what if I turned my head for a moment and didn't see you getting over????

Rude cashiers at stores....if you don't want to work with people get out of the retail business!

Restaurants who can NEVER get your order right if you are ordering more than one or two meals.

People who expect the babysitter to do all the work with potty training....won't work if you're not doing it at home people!

I could keep going but I've got to leave.

Man, that was refreshing to get that all out.

1lilpeanut2love replied: -toilet paper thing!!
-not replacing the trash bag after the old bag is taken out
-being late
-people driving TOO slow
-not putting the toilet seat down!!

1lilpeanut2love replied:
dito.gif!!!!

zdk753 replied: Mine are the same as some of yours.

People who can't leave their cell phones off for a second esp. in the bathroom. I also work at a store & anymore if you come up to me wanting my service, but won't hang up your phone, I'll walk off from you. They don't pay me enough to listen to your conversation.

Needing to really go to the bathroom only to find the toilet seat down & wet or w/ poop on it.

No toilet paper.

People who are driving 10 mph under the speed limit in both lanes.

Liars.

People who mistreat animals.

People who let their kids run wild in the store while they shop. They also don't pay me enough to babysit.

People who think it's perfectly alright to be late for everything. When I say 6 p.m. I mean 6 p.m. Sorry if you missed out on the food.

That's all I can think of right now.

aspenblue1 replied: People using the restroom when they call in with questions Or chewing in my ear

People who are in a all fire hurry to get infront of you just to drive 10 miles under the speed limit

luvbug00 replied:

I do that all the time. I don't like talking to people ( i'm actually quite shy believe it or not) and So i talk on the phone on purpose. I too worked in retail in a time long ago I loved it when people were on their phones. hence i don't have to converce with them.

* people who cut other people off. grr
* People who bring babies to plays and ( R rated) movies and they cry all the way threw. ( love babies but there are times when they need to stay home.)
* loud obnoxis teenagers.
* my neighbors
* people who tell me how to raise my child without my asking.

Boo&BugsMom replied: *undisciplined children, which leads me to #2
*parents who don't discipline their children
*people who are rude for a stupid or no reason at all because they need to get the poll out of their butt
*arrogance
*dirty floors in my house
*dirty feet walking on my floors (like mammag, I hate feet as well...ICK!, especially dirty ones) blink.gif
*shoes being worn in my house, or people who don't ask if they should take off their shoes...a BIG no no in my home!
*inconsiderate neighbors
*people who are always negative and always have something wrong, like they have to be unhappy to be happy
*WHINING!
*when people assume instead of asking questions

Ashlynn's Mommy, I'm one of those who don't take the items out of the basket, sorry blush.gif blush.gif

I have so many more, but I would be here forever! wacko.gif

I do have to add this one, no offense to anyone out there, but I think you should have to retake your driver's license test every single year after you turn 65 or 70!!! GOOD GRIEF!

ashtonsmama replied: People who judge before knowing a person...

When someone swears around children...

growl.gif growl.gif

Pee on the seat...(if you dribble, come on Ryan!)

laugh.gif

People who talk OR make out heavily during movies...
growl.gif growl.gif growl.gif growl.gif

The list could go on--

luvbug00 replied:

Yeah i agree 100% on that one!

ashtonsmama replied:
OK--well I have to say I have occasionally let the crap word slip a couple times when I get ticked off, but I try hard not to let it get worse than that, I usually don't have the urge to swear, some people just do I suppose. We still love you.
rolling_smile.gif

luvbug00 replied: hug.gif

I know i have a sailor mouth and it's not a big deal at our house. ( BTW before i earn the bad mom of the year award Mya has never swore except when she was a baby, she dropped a spoon and the "S" bomb. blush.gif ) so I really do try to stop myself I do respect other people's rules I'm just so accostomed to my own.

Boo&BugsMom replied:
I said the S word once around my son and he then repeated it right then and there! I was so embarassed. Luckily he forgot about it and never said it again. My peeve about it is when other people don't take other people's children into consideration when they swear (around their own I could care less, it's their choice). ESPECIALLY the F bomb!!! We have some neighbors who are notorious for that. Luckily they haven't gotten loug enough for the boy to hear, or else I'd be sending the hubby over there for a chat! Yes Troy, I would make you do it! tongue.gif

kersteegirl620 replied:

LOL. That cracks me up because I have always said that. I agree with you 100%

PrairieMom replied: People that sit at a red light, and wait for it to turn green before making a right hand turn.

People that take up an entire isle with their carts at the store.

when The boy asks why? after every single thing I ask him to do.

Ashlynn's Mommy replied:
Sorry, I meant to add when they do it snotty, like fling the basket on the counter and then look at me growl.gif growl.gif . I do it for the nice people rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

I totally agree with you about the drivers liscense issue. I thought it was just me blush.gif I say it all the time to my S/O, that when people turn a certain age they should have t o take their road test over again. rolling_smile.gif

My3LilMonkeys replied: Bad grammar/spelling in writing (professional writing, like books or fliers)

People who make rude comments about me walking too slow or being in their way when I'm trying to manage 2 kids and a diaper bag

People who swear around my kids and then, when asked politely not too, intentionally swear even more and even louder.

Jamison'smama replied:
I agree with you on this. Jamison had a simple children's book where one sentence ended in a preposition---bugged me everytime!

When driving and people who don't wave "thank you" when you let them in front of you etc.

Lack of table manners (excluding kids--the're still learning.)

Sagging jeans on guys or thongs showing on gals.

Noisey gum chewers

RACISM!

USMCwife replied: Some of my pet peeves are...

At the bank when there are 3 or 4 lines open and people still insist to go through the commercial/business line and they are going through just for their personal use. This happens all of the time to me when I am getting the bank bags for work. I cant go through the regular lines, I have to use the business line and I get held up because of this.

I am a loan officer for a finance company. And I cant stand it when I have to turn someone down for a loan and they get upset w/ me. Its not my fault that they have too much debt, dont pay their bills, or dont work. I mean, alot of times they get very very rude. But I bite my tongue and tell them to have a good day.

Another pet peeve of mine is when I say hello or "how are you today?" and the person I am talking to doesnt even have the common courtesy to say anything back. Whether it be that I am at work talking to a customer or at Wal-Mart through a check out line... it is just plain rude.

mummy2girls replied: snoring... can not handle that.. so i guess im in trouble if i ever get married...LOL

large crowds! like in a very crowded mall where we are breathing down each other necks!

idiot drivers!

ZandersMama replied: People who lie. Lie about big things or small things, just people who lie.

Ashlynn's Mommy replied: Another one is when my S/O shaves, and leaves little hairs in the bathroom, or when there's toothpaste in the bathroom sink. Wich is what I woke up too this morning after I cleaned the entire bathroom yesterday growl.gif growl.gif growl.gif growl.gif growl.gif

Jackie012007 replied: ooh yeah I hate this and it ALWAYS HAPPENS... I'll just have cleaned our since and DF will shave his face and leave little hairs ALL OVER the previously clean sink.... ohhhh that makes me mad!

I hate people who drive like idiots on the highways here and cut in and out of traffic... hate it even more when motorcyclists do that

I hate when the TP roll is empty and whoever wasted it leaves it there, and I hate the seat being left up but after 2 years of living together I finally have DF broken of that habit biggrin.gif

I hate close-talkers or people who have no concept of personal sapce... unless you are close family to me, I get freaked out about people being near near to me and touching me unless they are under the age of like 12

old people who think they own the road because they're old!!!!

whew I feel better!

garrettsmom replied: **people who bring babies to movies
**when people stop to talk with someone in the middle of an isle at the grocery store
**when someone says "have a good day"and you know they don't mean it.....don't say it if you don't mean it
**when the dirty clothes can't seem to make it into the hamper that it is laying next to.
** the arrogance of the tourists in this town. (I live in a small resort town, and we get a lot of wealthy people from downstate that come up to their multimillion dollar "cottages" for the summer, and they act like they own this town and most treat "townies" like we're scum. mad.gif
